This is a suggestion post, sorry to whine.
Getting shards only while others get tons of stuff and sometimes multiple drops at once is annoying. Spread the love some, it is a team game. I have 28 clears and Still lag behind my friends who are long past 30 and want to attempt the perfect raid achievement, but are waiting for us all to be 30.
Getting marks that we could use to buy armor with perks we actually use would open up customization and keep ppl interested in running raid after 30. We could get multiple sets for different weapon types and keep the game fun. Most modern mmos that have came post WOW have token raid gear for people like me who share in bad luck. Even the games that used the old need/greed option allowed love to be spread amongst friends in raid through passing items to people in need. The personal rng system sometimes leads to situations where some friends get too much loot too often while others seem to receive very little, and there is no trading system to balance the scale. If you could buy raid gear with raid tokens even at a slow pace it wouldn't be so bad.
Some suggestions I have are each chest/boss drops 5 marks in normal or 10 on hard. 100 marks buys a piece. This is better than using strange coins, as you would earn raid gear only by raiding.
Also before people think I am another person who hates this game, and goes off on me. I like this game, and plan on staying through the dlc. I am having a blast. Only other things missing is various Crucible game types, super free/limited playlist, and custom matches/lobbies.**
**Edited to cut back on the crying nature of the post. Also note the clears on my hunter even though I keep the gear in my bank for easy swaping between them.

The only people that are disagreeing with you are people that were lucky enough to get their raid armor. I'll give this game one more raid run through. I'm sick of this crappie system to bro

1 RespuestaYes. I actually agree to this. Screw lore, there ain't no lore here. I support raidmarks and a raid vendor!
-
1 RespuestaBump for another week of raiding.
-
I dont understand the ones that say that this would go against the lore... what lore? certainly you cant be referring to our "story" told via trading cards
-
Nah. I like this system

11 RespuestasI have completed the vault of glass 8 times and defeated atheon 4 times on hard and all I have gotten is a shader, ship, legendary gun and raid gloves, much less than others and I still agree this way should be the only way to get it, if you could buy it the game would be basic and boring and about 60% of destiny would already be level 30, with it this way when you run 10 vault of glass runs for gear then you get it, you feel accomplished and you worked for it instead of being handed gear
-
1 Respuestadisagree, ruins lore and atmosphere. rather have 1 checkpoint guarantee random non class specific armour (includes class items).
-
Agree with some vendors items that are relevant. But not all. The whole game shouldn't just be "wait this long for gear". It should guarantee you some gear, but I still like higher raid rewards that have some element of chance. But again, not all chance like it is now. We need a happy medium.

Just NO!

1 RespuestaCan confirm. At first I thought it was funny that I hit 30 in a single run (exotic helm) and all my friends didn't get anything. But at this point I'm starting to feel their frustration. Some have only gotten one piece. While my alt titan is one piece away from 30. I agree with the idea. So long as they fix the pushing off with grenades issue.
-
1 RespuestaI've completed the raid ten times 3 or which are on hard and i haven't received any raid gear however the rest of my clan and frends have and one particular person got all three raid gear in one go its really starting to frustrate me
-
My suggestion is that shards and energies be removed not from chests, but from checkpoint rewards.

We could get multiple sets for different weapon types and keep the game fun. If you could buy raid gear with raid tokens even at a slow pace it wouldn't be so bad. I have 7 clears and only have 1 piece and I do not even like the perks (pulse rifle) one friend has full gear and the Vex, and the others have multiple pieces and various weapons. Even my friends sister has 2 pieces from 2 runs. If we could get the marks those with bad luck could catch up. Please patch this in the future dlc/raids. This is 2014 no other mmo style games rely in rng alone anymore. Also before people think I am another person who hates this game, and goes off on me. I like this game, and plan on staying through the dlc. I am having a blast. Only other things missing is various Crucible game types, and a super free/limited playlist. Edit after thought: each chest/boss drops 5 marks in normal or 10 on hard. 100 marks buys a piece. This is better than using strange coins, as you would earn raid gear only by raiding. Edit 2- Also maybe have marks capped per account and not per character. So people would not be able to farm astronomical amounts if you think it will be exploitable. Edit 3 - another kill and now 4 friends are 30 and I still got one piece... Getting old. Edit 4: Add hardlight to the list of exotics that need a buff... This is not really important but someone asked me to throw it in there. hehe :P[/quote] Great idea

Na I don't like the idea of getting tokens from the raid for a vendor.

Editado por halbdeutscher: 10/17/2014 4:52:15 PMNo and no. I hate that and nothing special about recieving a pice then. I like rng more then you can be geared up faster or later with its just anothet grind, wow i can buy another gear... With marks it will be always more time consuming. Couse off the high cost of buying.

2 RespuestasTook me 13 clears to get all my pieces..
-
man ive beat it on hard 2 times, and all i recieved is shards and the ship. I have also beat it 4 times on normal and have revieved one piece of armor and a shotty ( i hate shottys..). We ran my friend through the first time and he gor 3 pieces of armor, the auto rifle, and the sparrow.... I love the game, but spending as much time as i do on top of a full job just gets frustrating. I keep playing, but ive honestly given up on ever getting the armor i need....

BEST POST EVER !!!

2 Respuestas+1 good idea! I want my damn boots! :P

I'm bumping this because this is a dope ass idea (if done properly)

Editado por DRob: 10/17/2014 2:12:27 AMI like this idea. Though I would say only earn the marks from completing raid events, not opening chest. You could give out like 5/10 marks(normal, hard) and have the same prices as the vanguard people(65,120,150). This would be nice so if you didn't get anything you could you at least get some progress towards a new item a full clear would yield 30/60 marks so it would still take awhile to obtain them, maybe even be able to farm them by repeating the vault. I know people would farm it, but it would be more enjoyable to be able to run the raid multiple times a week an get something for running it even though I am sure people would flip out and say it's unfair. Maybe make it exactly like the vanguard and crucible marks and cap them at 100 a week. Would be fun to just run the raid all week instead of running stikes past 28 and not getting anything you need. It would be a nice progression first you run story, then run strikes from 18-26, then run raids from 26-29 then run hard raid from 29-30, then...pvp maybe I guess lol.
-
How would these marks be earned? If through completion then it would be easy to just join on atheon and repeat it over and over again. Rng is god. Worship the rng. Praise rng. On another note if you do the raid for fun it shouldn't matter what you get lol i ran it with friends without any expectations and recieved all the gear for my titan in just 4 raids (recieved the gear in only 2 of them) Keep fighting the good fight guardian
-
Nah doing this will render the raid useless pretty fast and eliminate any reason to do it after you get what you want. Keeping it like this gives your a reason to keep doing it until you finally get what you want, keeps it interesting n now rewarding than just farming tokens n then going to a vendor. Btw, how the hell would the vendor get raid gear then huh? You telling me he can solo the raid n then always get guaranteed raid gear? Just to sell it for tokens only he accepts in the tower n wouldn't be able to spend it anywhere?..... Oh wait...
