Please add raid tokens to buy raid gear. 28 clears and this is the worst loot system in any game, ever.
This is a suggestion post, sorry to whine.
Getting shards only while others get tons of stuff and sometimes multiple drops at once is annoying. Spread the love some, it is a team game. I have 28 clears and Still lag behind my friends who are long past 30 and want to attempt the perfect raid achievement, but are waiting for us all to be 30.
Getting marks that we could use to buy armor with perks we actually use would open up customization and keep ppl interested in running raid after 30. We could get multiple sets for different weapon types and keep the game fun. Most modern mmos that have came post WOW have token raid gear for people like me who share in bad luck. Even the games that used the old need/greed option allowed love to be spread amongst friends in raid through passing items to people in need. The personal rng system sometimes leads to situations where some friends get too much loot too often while others seem to receive very little, and there is no trading system to balance the scale. If you could buy raid gear with raid tokens even at a slow pace it wouldn't be so bad.
Some suggestions I have are each chest/boss drops 5 marks in normal or 10 on hard. 100 marks buys a piece. This is better than using strange coins, as you would earn raid gear only by raiding.
Also before people think I am another person who hates this game, and goes off on me. I like this game, and plan on staying through the dlc. I am having a blast. Only other things missing is various Crucible game types, super free/limited playlist, and custom matches/lobbies.**
**Edited to cut back on the crying nature of the post. Also note the clears on my hunter even though I keep the gear in my bank for easy swaping between them.

Yeah, it's totally random. That's why I have 76 ascendant shards and only 4 ascendant energy. Also two pairs of raid boots and 5 chatterwhites...I did get a couple guns though.

I'm at 8 found verdicts total I hate the rng In this game should have a 30 multiple times with double digit hard raid victories...

How about you get 5/10 Marks every time that a loot drop (chest or boss) doesn't give you something good. For example, if you open a Raid Chest on Normal you would either A) get Shards/Energy and a weapon or armor piece or B) get Shards/Energy and 5 Marks. This way you only get Marks when you don't get anything else, to even out the gap between the lucky people that get straight drops and the unlucky people who currently get nothing.

I don't agree with giving tokens or having any official way to get raid gear I have completed the raid on both difficulties alot of times now and still not one piece of gear for any of my characters and yes it's very annoying But it will be rewarding when I finally get it I reached 29 extremely fast by taking advantage of the marks and factions in this game and it was just to easy to get there Random loot is here to keep making you play and for you to feel awsome when you finally get it Some people are lucky Some aren't But eventually you will get it I'm also glad they made the final boss a little harder to many people unfairly got the vex mytho class and it's starting to show with some of the normal random party raids I've joined There's so many complaints because players can't cheat there way to victory anymore

Then, you can use one, or a few, tokens on any legendary piece of gear to give it one extra upgradeable defense slot, which would effectively increase your light level to 30. This way, the raid is still required to get to 30, but you have more options in choosing your gear. Then there's a lot more variety, and not a bunch of raid 30's with one different exotic on. Just my thoughts.

If the raid is supposed to be so hard, then it should give some sort of guaranteed loot that doesn't keep giving you the same thing. The RNG sucks and offers irritation instead of reward.

Personally, I think the thing that would probably help is that Shards and Energies be removed from boss drop loot pools. They're fine in chests, but it's pretty rough to kill Atheon, everyone gets some cool weapons and armor, and you get a chatterwhite and 3 shards.

You my friend have fallen into what I call the found verdict zone, I have the exact same story as you, got the found verdict 7 times now. Ran the raid around 15 times between 2 characters, and just yesterday I got my second piece of gear, 1 per character. I am effing pissed at rng

Raid marks would allow everyone to eventually level up. Its antithetical not to reward players for their effort; they will eventually quit the game and move on to something else. Keep the posts going so that Bungie actually listens to this suggestion. In all honesty, this one of the greatest ideas I've ever heard on these forums.

1 RespuestaI agree ... ive only done three raids and got a piece of armor, the shader, the ship, the sparrow, the primary scout rifle that does solar damage, and the the void damage assault rifle... its kinda ridiculous that people have done it 10 times more than me and don't have a piece of raid gear
