I didn't say it was bad ever. I said it wasn't game breaking. It could be countered. I cared because there were two reasons I was excited for Destiny one, Hard Mode raiding offering gear that not every joe schmo would have. Two Iron Banner. The fact that they only decided to make one Hard Mode Exotic exclusive and then nerf it to where it's not even the most powerful exotic in any fashion completely defeats the purpose of ever defeating the raid more than once. Secondly not even in the Iron Banner are you allowed to have a gear advantage that you are working for by grinding time into getting gear.
I don't get why you guys don't go play a normal FPS with no RPG elements it's clearly what you want.
I have gunned down many players with it pre patch it has terrible range, and up close simply shotgun it.
So maybe you didn't say it was bad, but at the very least, with as liberal an interpretation of that sentence as possible, you are underselling the shit out of it. If you don't understand the need for balance in a PVP environment, then I suggest you do some reading. If people are constantly having to deal with something that is OP, they don't generally come to the forums to complain (despite what you may believe). They simply don't play it anymore. From a business standpoint, having anything too powerful in PVP means that all the players who got fed up aren't going to be buying DLC and/or will move on to something else. That's no good for cashflow.

Editado por dostranamus: 10/15/2014 4:10:00 AMThere are posts, and data showing that more people care about PVE over PVP by far in this game. Rightfully so it's what makes it different than BF, COD, Halo. That being said the ones who won't be buying DLC already are those who will jump ship to play fresh new PvP in those games. The ones who care about PVE and obtaining outstanding LOOT are the ones who will stick around and buy DLC. Same as any other MMORPG they don't sell expansions due to PVP. Also why would the people interested in obtaining new bad ass gear from the new DLC's raids even bother when they know it will be met with complaints until it is nerfed to shit that they could already have had.

If you are saying that you are upset that the balance changes affected your PVE, then I agree with you. I think PVP and PVE need to be two separate entities with their own data tables. That isn't, however, how you framed the rest of your posts.

It shouldn't have affected PVE in anyway but also it should have been relevant in PVP. If you want every game to be the same in PVP then do so just make it so only common gear is allowed in PVP. NO supers or jumps as I've said before. Keep crucible 100 percent standardized if you don't want any gun better than another.

Editado por dostranamus: 10/15/2014 11:58:28 PMI refer you to this example http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/72968647/0/0 The majority of players bought this game for it's RPG PVE elements and could give a blam less if COD crybabies leave. Edit I bring this up because I know myself and tons of other PVE players have lost interest in just another everyone the same game. All the PVP crybabies will leave for COD, BF and HALO anyways...

I never once said or even alluded to the idea that people aren't playing this for the PVE. Whether or not people are playing this for the PVP solely is irrelevant. I'm explaining to you why companies that develop video games preoccupy themselves with balance. You seem to be unwilling or incapable of acknowledging the fact that people do not enjoy fights in a game that they cannot win. I don't really give a -blam!- if you can't understand why the Mythoclast needed a PVP nerf. I'm sorry that you can't understand why people expect games to be fundamentally fair and to allow SKILL to be the deciding factor rather than gear. This game was made by a company that calls their multiplayer COMPETITIVE. Perhaps you should be mad at Bungie for not making a game that allows you to utterly destroy people even when you don't have the skill to do so. I believe that the PVE portion should have remained untouched by the rebalance, but that isn't for me to decide, nor to point fingers and stir up chaos like you yourself have chosen to do. From my position, you are no better than the people you blame. You are contributing to the problems that plague this forum, and the internet in general, just as much as they are.
