Stop it with the "Fix Atheon Glitch!"
Listen up all you hipster punks! If by "fix atheon glitch" you mean, getting KTO right when atheon is about to die, being stuck in venus/mars no matter how many times you go through the portal, atheon warping the wrong people, succumbing to oracles even though you killed them, not getting the Time of Vengance buff when you finish the oracles, or being unable to pick up the relic, then I suggest you all shut your mouths. The Atheon knockoff glitch is a harmless bug. There are thousands of other bugs that actually hurt players. All this hurts is your ego because you can't brag about your precious VM. There are other bugs that are a serious issue, and it can cause all your progress on atheon to go down the drain as it constantly forces you to wipe and redo the whole battle no matter the perfect plan you had. This is the whole loot cave all over again. The loot cave and the Atheon knockoff aren't hurting anyone. Instead of forcing bungie to focus on this crap, maybe make the fix ACTUAL ISSUES. Just shut your hipster mouths. Oh and for all you "Xur is ruining the game" bs, buying from Xur is the same as getting a job, saving up money, and buying a car. Stop crying because you dont feel so special because that person has the same gun as you. It sounds like when 2 stereotypical girls show up at a high school dance wearing the same dress/outfit.
On a side note: If it took a 34% damage nerf for the VM to be the same as a suros though slightly better still, then yes maybe it is a little OP. Btw if VM is still slightly better than Suros you can still dominate PvP ffs. I agree that they should keep the damage the way it was for PvE but PvP is a place where things are suppose to be balanced. It is not fair (no matter how hard it was to get) that everyone has to be balanced while one guy gets to be unbalanced and OP. All this complaining and you haven't even tested the new hotfix. Wouldn't matter anyways I'm sure the moment you die, even if you get killed by a super, rocket, sniper, or turret, and it was from behind, you all would just complain and blame it on the nerf.

Bragging rights aside this weapon and all things in the world work as work=reward you blasphemous fool. There are things that are easy to do in this world and things that are hard to do. But your logic people without the intellect to work at NASA should be given jobs because people with this job have bragging rights. Who cares if someone robbed the bank they didn't earn the money but they still got it . You and the rest of the ilk that agree with this lazy disgusting logic should be banned from this game you are ruining it. I am done with this

I agree with the point they shouldn't fix it, they said 'beat it if you can', people did but suddenly it's not 'the right way', they shouldn't be limiting the experience, again just because your pride tells you it's wrong doesn't mean it is. I just think all those who say it should be fixed is because they can't do it and want to limit others experiences to their own. I have an idea stop whinging that people play different to you and just enjoy what ever experience you have. You can make it what you want. Limiting the experience of someone else because you can't do it/experience it is what children do and based on what I've read on here over the weeks it's mainly children who play this game.

The reason why people are knocking him off the ledge is because it is WAAAY EASIER than to try to shoot down a friggen bullet sponge. Hell, on hard mode if one person dies in the portal that isn't a Sunsinger Warlock, the whole team has to do a complete restart, or someone has to pick up the slack. And believe me, even an experienced Hunter like me can't drop the relic shoot oracles, and then pick it up and attempt to cleanse my teammate... So my idea is leave the knock-off glitch(TEMPORARILY), but focus on lowering the Atheon's health, or enhance Vengeance damage and Bungie should monitor the rate at which players try to actually kill him, rather than knock him off the ledge. Give us updates to show how your community reacts action-wise to this nerf of Atheon. Obviously the knock-off glitch will and should be removed eventually, but rather than add "kill zone" restrictions and "out of zone despawn relic" nerf to the Templar, and inevitably this could be done to Atheon, try making it more appealing for players to try harder modes, and do things the legit way. EDIT: Not to mention, perhaps consider tweaking the fuc*ing Praetorian in the right side portal to stop glitch regenerating health, and lag teleporting all over the place to just *SLAP* 1 hit kill you in hard mode if your not a Titan at rank 29...

2 RespuestasYeah dude they specifically nerfed a gun that already was extremely hard to get due to this glitch. I dont even have the Vex but I feel bad for players that grinded for it just to see it weakened by Bungie. Rule of thumb so far is complain enough and the game is downgraded. Remember we've seen no real improvements to any of the actual issues save for engrams which took forever to be patched but a new loot cave discovered is gone instantly. Makes no sense.

6 RespuestasI hope you realize that the Atheon knock off trick was cheap because it made the so called "best gun in the game" (Vex Mythoclast) the easiest gun to obtain. So to all those Atheon knock-off trick people: " you are the cause for the nerfing of Vex Mythocast, plain and simple, so if you gonna hate, then hate yourself for exploiting the game".

The sandy themed is the past, and the vegetated, overgrown portal is the future, hence "Time's Vengeance." Is it really that hard to piece together? Dude knocking Atheon of the left side and let me say The only side Isn't a major bug? You obviously haven't played hard mode. Yes, there is minor bugs that need to be fixed but.. Clearly fixing the bigger bugs matter more then the minor. Assuming that even the minor bugs are apprantly complicated for bungie to handle actively. Due to the fact that activision is not letting them focus on that. Instead focus on the content they have to release by December. We just have to wait and see what they can do. Give them the chance. Even though they have -blam!-ed up super hard as a first impression since the 2 week of launch.

16 RespuestasThis is a legitimate strategy that was conceived to kill Atheon due to the broken encounter. Its riddled with glitches that instantly cause a wipe in hardmode. Have you ever had Atheon down to less than 20% on hard mode then he only teleports 2 people? Its an instant wipe! After doing this for 4-6hours with near flawless execution only to succumb constantly to a broken encounter is enraging. The actual Atheon fight wouldnt even be the hardest part in hardmode if it wasnt all jacked up. The real issue is why we as a community had to come up with this strategy.
