I am genuinely curious. Now that your freedom of movement in the VoG has been restricted, the mythoclast nerfed, and assault rifles nerfed, who feels like the VoG is still worth doing? Certainly not me.

Did the raid twice and got nothing. For wasting approx 1h 30 (normal) to how ever long hard mode takes me (hours! I know that much. #Wiping lol) I should be guaranteed ONE piece of raid gear. My theory is this..if I wanted shards and shit I wud do daily's or events or even dismantle stuff. Shards/energy shouldn't be in Nightfall/raid. They cudda decided what loot is given for certain things and still kept the RNG aspect.

Editado por Dragnelus: 10/17/2014 2:53:43 PMIts not challanging, its short, its just shoot and kill whatever spawns and pick up a relic. Browsing atm, wow archage etc :p Hope eso will launch this year for the console

Hopefully Bungie will come to their senses and make Vex Mytho stronger. But other than that I still need to keep leveling my alts. It hasn't changed anything.
-
Did it twice Tuesday after the changes, and still had a blast. I don't see myself skipping the Vault any time soon (also not 30 yet, and don't have all the possible raid drops, so there's that)
-
Considering I still have yet to do it on normal, I'm still looking forward to it
-
2 RespuestasAll I want is full raid armor. I've done it twice and only found gauntlets, and reading peoples posts saying they have completed it 6+ times and not received any raid armor doesn't make me want to do it anymore.

1 RespuestaDid it the hard way the first time and now its easy. Never needed the easy, huddle with your boyfriends on a platform way. Not fazed at all.

2 RespuestasEditado por Mr Goodkat: 10/16/2014 10:10:08 AMI feel like it's still worth doing. For one, I just completed normal last night, and finished off my raid gear collection (had gloves an exotic helm already, it gave me cuirass and boots). So now I can reach 30. And while the Vex has gotten a (much needed) nerf, it's still a good weapon. And ARs needed a nerf, too. The people who say they didn't tend to be people who don't understand balance and rely too heavily on those unbalanced weapons. The playing field is now more level and appropriately challenging, and some people get lazy (or mad because they can't do if now) and don't try. Their loss. Also, saying the freedom of movement has been restricted is not really an argument for not doing the VoG. That's pretty much just flat out admitting you have a much lower skill level and can't complete VoG without cheap tactics. It's a hard raid for end game rewards, not a walk in the park strike. What Bungie should have done, imo, is just push the platforms further back. That way we can still be sniped from enemies who still spawn there, but we can't get there ourselves. There's not much more a gamer hates than seeing an area that we can get to, but getting killed for going there. Unless it's previously being able to go there, and having it revoked.

Beat it yesterday and got the mythoclast... Can't wait for them to buff that gun though
-
there's like 4 opportunitys to get drops not including extra chest and all signs Indicate there is more to the Vault than what's been found so far. you'll be back when they find extra cool shit
-
VoG isn't difficult without those platforms or uber weapons. Still a very rewarding challenge with a lot of variety.
-
I still need Fatebringer and Praedyth's Timepiece. Once I get those, then I'll be raiding for Shards and energy until the next raid is out.
-
I enjoy playing it because it's actually a lot of fun. In fact the other night I stayed up til 4am playing around in it despite having already got my reward for the week! It would be interesting to see the popularity of it had it not ever had rewards in the first place. I imagine it would be just as popular with people going for speed runs and such. People need to enjoy the journey more. I've seen far too many posts of people who want to start from Atheon and skip all the content! What a waste of £50!
-
As i only have the raid boots for my hunter im willing to still doit. Grated not being able to use the enviroment to my advantage is a downside.
-
5 RespuestasWe'll just end up finding more bugs. It amazes me that Bungie has never tested their own raid. You'd think that even killing Atheon and finding out it doesn't take you to the end screen would be discovered by the Testers. Well I guess now we know they don't actually do anything at Bungie.

3 RespuestasThis is ridiculous. They took exploits of the game out, leveled a extremely OP weapon which is still the best gun in the game and took range and stability away from assault rifles to make them more believable. Basically they patch crap that should have been done at released. The Vex is still highly powerful and still easily the best weapon. its just made more fair and less dominating. Get a grip.....it was way to OP.
-
i done it only once, and i would love to do it again, brings out the teamwork and challenge into something new other than running to point A ghost decrypts and a swarm of enemies come after you.
-
I am inspired to.

2 RespuestasRaid is still exactly the same since we never used that Templar strategy. Its still really easy, and Im talking about Hard mode. Vex Nerf is hardly noticeable. Auto rifle Nerf is hardly noticeable. Generally those who struggled with the Raid, using the Vex and AR's pre-nerf will suffer greatly from these changes. Those who found it easy wont be affected by them at all. Its more of a nerf to the casual players, not so much the gameplay.
-
Nope m not interested in it.
-
I want the armor and scout rifle , so yeah still gonna give it a go . Just out of habit more then real motivation lol
-
I do. Have only done 2 partial runs and have not yet beat the actual boss, but I enjoy the challenge. Even if I had all the Raid gear and was a Level 30 I would still enjoy playing the Raid just to see how quickly we could complete some of the stages.
-
My vex mythoclast is less effective than my vision of confluence. depressing... The only motivation i have now for VoG is the raid gear and the actual playsession i'll have with my friends.
-
I still find it fun. Completed it three weeks in a row now and have yet to get any raid equipment to drop to help me get to 30. That's my biggest gripe.

It's fun playing the way the dev's intended. Not in it for the loot, just the satisfaction. Destiny Raid Drinking Game: -after each phase, you shotgun a beer or 2 -after each death, you shotgun another beer or 2
