First off, I love this game. I am an older RPG player. I don't really like FPS and I HATE PVP. However, this game has great potential. Just don't run away from the RPG aspects of your game.
1-
Problem - my Lv 28 gets pawned by a Lv 2 dreg when I let my wife play.
Solution - in any RPG my 1300+ defense would make these Lv 2 characters chip away at my health bar. NOT decimate it. If I can't use a high level character to sell this game to a novice in the first level then you are failing in the RPG aspect with levels.
2-
Problem - Cryptarch sales have been useless since level 10. I'm a level 14 rank and he still only sales commons and uncommons. Pathetic since I'm geared in legendary and exotic.
Solution - start adding more variety like ships and ghost and so on to his sales and up the rarity as our rank level increases.
3-
Problem - legendary drops on easy and on hard are the same rate. This is essentially why you had higher levels farming the "loot cave".
Solution - farming is a way of life for RPGs. Change the drop rates so lower levels only drop commons. And as you move up they start to drop higher rarities. So that level 27's aren't playing patrol with lv2 mobs and farming for hours on in.
4-
Problem - post master not living up to his full potential.
Solution - all players to send gifts to each other via the post master. You can even add the option where we can "invite to fire team" have another selection that says "send gift".
5-
Problem - not enough space in vault and no market place to sell items.
Solution - double the vault space and add a market where players can sell items for money/trade items/rare commodities.
6-
Problem - cutscenes.
Solution - allow us to skip them.
7-
Problem - can't see shaders before I buy them.
Solution - add a preview to the shaders. Even if it's showing on some random default character instead of my own.
8-
Problem - no drops from bosses and mini bosses. Seriously!?
Solution - you claim to be an FPS RPG so add drops to the bosses. That's the whole point in killing these guys to see what we will get.
9-
Problem - patch on the queens gear.
Solution - make it a possibility that dismantling them can or can't not give you ascendant items. After the patch it became useless for me to run these matches for gear weaker than my own.
10-
Problem - VoG
Solution - allow it to assemble players just like a strike does. Obviously those with 6 friends with mikes will do better however you are turning your game off to everyone else who wants to try.
I would love to hear back from activision or bungie however I doubt I will. :(

I'm glad I seem to have an overall approval with my suggestions. Those of you who did not approve but gave alternate suggestions and reasons THANK YOU. I always prefer constructive criticism and helpful ideas. So just a quick rehabs now after all the comments. Idea 1 - nobody seemed to really have a problem with this. Some people confused the PVP balancing for what I was talking about. This was referring to PVE. Your weapons atk and your def should actually make a huge difference. Idea 2 - lots of people agreed he is useless. And everyone agreed that as his level goes up his items rarity should increase as well. Others pointed out that the ship/speeders/ghost have their own vendors however I never see them pushing anything new. Which is why I would suggest the Cryptarch have random engrams for us to try with. "Gamble with glimmer" as one person mentioned. Idea 3 - I think I did not word this correctly because all the comments on it were basically what I was saying. Lower level mobs should drop low level rarities. This gives everyone a reason to play it on hard. High level mobs have a better chance to drop legendary engrams. Idea 4/5 - most people had a heart attack about these two lol. However some made good points against it and others went a step farther to show how to get around it. Idea 4 way around was to make it only viable to gift an item to players who you have had in a fire team for some amount of time. Like 96 hours worth of playing with each other. This would basically stop anyone going on forums to sell items or break the game because only those you play with A LOT would have this option available. Idea 5 basically got shot out the window. I thought it would be cool however everyone brought up real good reasons for not doing it so I'm ok with that. Idea 6/7/8 - everyone gave a thumbs up on these so hopefully DeeJ will read it. Idea 9 - I tried to understand people's argument on this however all legendary gear you can buy/ find breaks into shards. So regardless of how "easy" it was to get queens gear it should of still followed the same rules. One person pointed out that if they don't want that to happen then starting with the NEXT queens items make that the goal however they shouldn't of changed it in the middle of the quest. I agree. Idea 10 - lol more people up in arms on how this will "break destiny" however I don't see it at all. People seem to be forgetting you can make your fire teams to be invite only. We are simply saying make it a viable option for others to use or not use. NOT to make it mandatory for all. I hope this clears that up. Again hoping to hear from DeeJ or somebody but nothing yet. All I want from them is a comment that says "nice ideas. I'll send these up" or "sorry not happening".

Masterful. Both well-said, and thoughtful.
-
Pretty much my thoughts to the T. Well put sir. Well put.
-
ParishedSaint86, thank you for saying what I've been chatting with my friends about since release day.
-
could not agree more.
-
Valid points. Thanks for being sensible. The vault needs expanded for sure. And I hate when I pick up my things from vault and every item has upgrade icons.
-
Stop making sense! Bungie doesn't like that!
-
-
+ eleventy billion. You had all the points i have thought about ivee the time i have been playing. Add a native voip function (blockable if the player wanted to) and you have the game i am looking for. I too was looking forward to vault of glass, but being a casual gamer, am yet to try.

They never claimed destiny to be a rpg, its still a fps WITH rpg aspects:)
-
Why the hell am I getting hunter gear from Ingrams when I'm a warlock?

-
To urge you to start another character. I get warlock stuff from cryptarch upgrade ALL THE TIME so u started a warlock, plus if your an achievement hunter u have to level up all three to a certain point anyway to get em all.

Don't get your hopes up for cryptarch, mine is level 87... Still only whites and occasional greens. I agree with most of what your saying. But there shouldn't be match making in raid, simply because you always get that one person that wants to do nothing, or just stays dead. In strikes I can solo the level 24 so it doesn't matter, but in the raid one weak link and your done.

Editado por stardestroyeryj: 10/15/2014 4:40:43 PMI agree with all your points.*Sigh* You know what? Destiny really needs to get some help. The loot system is so messed up yet with other weaker mmo's at least people don't go insane when they can't get any loot from high level enemies. I have played mmo's like SWTOR and Guild Wars 2 and neither had any of these problems. Heck Guild Wars 2 nearly perfected the loot system. Why can't Destiny take a hint and look at other mmo's strongpoints and learn from them to improve itself. I really want to see this game flourish but with bad execution and horrible features it is gonna take a lot of work.

Editado por mike miz: 10/15/2014 1:18:02 PMAgree with pretty much all your points here, however not sure on the postmaster one. Might be difficult to implement something like that.
-
Editado por Ashnori: 10/15/2014 2:48:22 PMWhy would that be hard? Blizzard did it with diablo ROS i thing a company like bungie could implement that

I am more afraid of "SPAR3 MON3YS FUR N00B" spam.
-
Aah see the thing is glimmer shouldent be tradeble then
-
Not *strictly* what I meant. I mean weenies who wander the tower, Inspect everyone, and spam friend requests or "gimme thing or I will hax you!" I get enough "wanna join my guild?" and "looking for entire team for VoG." Trading would make for a nightmare.
-
I def already stopped playing. Way better games coming out soon guys let Bungie play their re-skinned Halo multiplayer until they realize I want to play co-op that is fun not tape my trigger down and wait for three days of bullets to finally kill the boss. D-bags.
-
Vog doesnt need match making it ruins the newness for people who have never played. Example Dark Souls the fun is killing the boss and learning how w/ the matchmaking you get speed runners who do everything which is highly likely everything else I give a stamp of approval.
-
Just a few things I wanted to point out. By allowing players to send gifts/sell items to other players (I assume by this you mean any items you currently own) that would ruin some of the game. A lot of people would start looking for exploits to duplicate items and if they did come across it that item would literally become worthless and way too common. Bungie wanted people to grind for the gear they want even if it takes the person months. Which is how it should be. I would love to see XP bars on weapons/armor. Not just the green bar but a bar that also shows how much XP you currently have vs how much you need. I'd also like to see more potential uses for each classes specific material (sapphire wire for hunters as an example here) let us do something else with it! Trade it to a merchant for something, anything! Having 800 sapphire wire doing absolutely nothing in my inventory is kind of annoying in my opinion.
-
At the very least, let us convert it for alts. Titan: over 400. Warlock & Hunter: 40. But yes, being able to convert those useless stacks and all those damn level 16 green's I still get to Marks (or hell, even Glimmer) makes this at least *somewhat* useful. I would also love it if I could set the game to auto a disassemble pickups under a certain rarity or level cap. All 3 above 26, decked in purples - I don't need that level 16 blue sniper rifle, no matter how much you think I do!
-
Me and they people I play with have been talking all the time about how we want auto dismantles!!! Glad to see we aren't alone in this!
