So.. Bungie.. Patch notes? Event? Tuesday is tomorrow..
Dear Bungie,
Just a bit curious as to whether or not there is going to be a patch tomorrow or perhaps a new event to replace the Iron Banner.
It would be kind of weak not to have a "third" event lined up. Maybe even a patch to quell this assault of animal codes people keep experiencing.

1 RespuestaI love this game but really these "events" have been really lame. Queens bounties and iron banner bounties aren't exactly events imo. No new story,dialogue or cutscenes. Iron banner was only good for a couple shaders, it really just felt like I was playing in the crucible. If this is this is the best content they're going to give us for free I'll be really disappointed.

6 RespuestasI'm not expecting anything, not like I used to in mid September. With the way the events have gone thus far, none of us will be missing anything in the absence of a new one. Looks like the options are: A) Slightly modded bounties and story missions. B) Slightly modded bounties and Crucible playlists. Neither excites the imagination.

5 RespuestasI have a sinking suspicion that we have seen it all until DLC comes out. We will get another Queen's and another Iron Banner between then and now is my guess, but nothing new. Hope I'm wrong, but... Would like to hear one way or another though. I know peeps were talking mad crap about Queen but she hit right when I need my armor to get over the 21 hump so it was pretty nice. This time though the only good it would do would be for alt characters I guess.

As I posted elsewhere, I noticed on Friday that the main PSN info page for the game (the stuff one sees just before launching) showed the info blurb for Iron Banner but then listed Salvage beside it as "coming soon". I infer that to mean that Salvage will probably be the next "event" (though I'm loathe to call a PVP style that should be there all the time an 'event'), probably for a weekend, while being in between larger events. I honestly think we've seen all of the events and they're just going to repeat until the first DLC drops. I'm also not holding my breath for a patch. Almost 3 weeks since the dev notes about weapons and some exotic weapons needing revising and all we've heard are crickets.

If something was coming up, it would have been announced. They told us about everything else in advance. There probably isn't anything lined up for the next few weeks until the DLC comes out.
