if you're bad at the Crucible... don't play.
Ok, you smartarses are going to go check my stats. Lets just say, when i play solo we always lose (which is 3/4 of the time) and when i play with friends we win and i get really good k.ds so no need to be a dick in the comments! My overall k.d won't do this post much justice.
If you can find out somehow, you will see i got 37 kills in a Clash game and we ONLY just scraped the win because one of our teammates for example went 2 - 16
I'm not hating! I just find it incredibly annoying how i end up losing most of my games due to other people who i am matched with for being genuinely decent at the game. On top of that, how can you even manage to go so negative when you have a gun and the same gear as most of the others, yeah you may have a bad game but a 2 - 16 game? Really?
So please instead of making everyone else lose, stick to PvE.

Yes, let's have all of those that suck, which is very subjective, leave the crucible. Then those who have been destroying them will have a reality check that they aren't as good as they thought they were. I can see it now. Below 0.5 gets banned from crucible. Then another cut at 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 etc. Then people complain about the PvP being dead

I believe half the people who "play" crucible do so with the sole intention of doing as poorly as possible to reap the benefits doing poorly as possible provides. There is lack of incentive to try, since the bottom players are more likely to be rewarded with better gear. Fix that issue, and the amount of people intentionally doing bad will drop. The point of doing strikes, daily heroics, and raids is because you're rewarded for your effort. Why is the crucible different? Someone posted a way to fix the crucible system, by way of the points you earn unlocking random engrams every 2500 points. That's a good conversation starter, and hopefully Bungie listens.

It's about perspective muchacho ... There is no real matchmaking w statistics so new gamers such as myself that are horrible but want to get better are gonna keep trying... It's a game. We aren't getting paid to play as a professional. It's about having fun and trying to become better. Until there's real matchmaking w people that have similar stats, you will never get your way. Sorry.

This is more like a matchmaking problem. Bungie's bullshit "matchmaking" for this game is non-existent. Every game is like that; where one to three people on the team do well but the bottom two or so do horrible. They need to fix matchmaking, so that it pairs players with other players that have comparable stats. Then we can see some real glorious battles.

I have to agree. If I played with friends all the time id probably have a 2.5 or so kd but playing solo I get matched with some baaaaad players. And then once in a blue moon ill get matched with a few good players rs for 1 game and thats it. Yet I cant shake the BKs. Im not an elitist and honestly dont care about my kd anyway... but sometimes it feels impossible to even win a game going in solo. The other night I had a bounty for win 3 matches. Well I had won 2 in a row with a couple buddies but when they got off I figured id just won one more myself. 5 games later after never going negative I just gave up and got off for the night. Ranks would help remedy this a lot. Not saying a number makes you good or bad... but if im 40+ rank at least I wont be playing with the skill equivalent of level 15s which seems like im matched up with most cyrrently. TL:DR playing on a lousy team sucks and I think ranks would make this problem a lot less prevalent

If all the people who had negative KD's quit playing, then the people with average KD's would start to suck because they only have good people to play against. This pattern would continue until there was no one left playing. Always remember you need shitty players to boost your KD. Otherwise YOU would be a shitty player.

If your a bad driver then stop driving. Hmmm odd, doesnt really stop anyone does it? But in response to the topic, ive seen how you can be that bad. My girlfriend wanted to play and talk to our friends who were online, group of 4 went into crucible. After two matches of 0.11 and 0.14 k/d I told her to make her own character. Granted, this is someone who never played the game, and generally doesnt even play seriously at all. It was painful to watch.

Yeah, if we're better than you, you shouldn't play at all ever because you might make us look less better. ...You realize it is impossible to play a game without people having k/d's under 1.0, right? Literally impossible. If you get rid of all the nubs, you'd make new ones, so this is a pointless argument.
