At the moment there have already been 3 fully developed areas found in Destiny through glitches that are supposedly for dlc. 2 in the black garden, and terminus on Venus. I must ask, seriously? These are ALREADY IN THE GAME!!? Why!? Why are we expected to pay extra for things that are in the -blam!-ing game on its release date? Because Bungie and Activision are money whoring assholes. It's a -blam!-ing ripoff. The time before a games development should be spent on the actual games development. adding content, making it a long enjoyable experience. doing everything they can to make the game as large and enjoyable as possible. You know what they did instead? Pretended to work on the game for all this time when in reality a they were building PAID dlc that gamers would have to purchase to UNLOCK. DLC should be made after the game is -blam!-ing released. They wasted -blam!-ing crucial game development time to build dlc, so for the next year they can sit back, relax, and -blam!- our wallets for what has been in the game all this -blam!-ing time. I call complete bullshit. Too many of you blindly follow bungie and this game. you know what? It's not bad. It does a lot right. It does a lot -blam!-ing wrong too. Really wrong. Giving this game anything above a 7 is bullshit. They've been working on this since ODST, huh? What have they been doing this entire -blam!-ing time? Getting baked? How can developers like Monolith make a game that -blam!-ing stomps destinys ratings? Not impressed bungie. A long time halo fan has been let down completely. It's a shame people seriously want to make themselves believe this game is that good when it's incredibly average. The overhype for this game is -blam!-ing incredible. Biggest let down in gaming history for me. For a year and a half I was shitting my pants for this game, believing every claim bungie made. thanks for nothing.

1 RespuestaWhich version did you buy? Standard?

1 RespuestaYou are new to this...aren't you?
-
1 RespuestaGonna stop you at first sentence which is where ignorance starts. SHELLS of levels were found, not "fully developed" as you so ignorantly put. That throws the rest of your rant out the window. Your welcome for informing you :)

18 RespuestasEditado por XtraLifex2: 10/14/2014 4:19:13 AMFrom a development point of view it makes complete sense to pre-build content for future release. It takes quite some time to model an entire world, texture it, populate it and iron glitches out. I don't think I will take the effort required to do this intense artwork and game design for granted. Smart move. If Bungie gave us all they had at launch, we'd be waiting much much longer for DLC to be built from scratch and I'm sure the game would get repetitive quicker for even longer. Leading to more community outcry and loss of player map population. I'm happy and more comfortable knowing we have content ready to go fairly soon. As for the money aspect: Bungie and Activision are businesses. Would you expect any less of them to want money to continue what they're doing and feed themselves as well?

1 RespuestaExplain this to me again. Bungie has plans for expansions. Ideas. Some of the stuff we saw never made it past the cutting room floor. Some of the stuff we saw is set up in advance through patches and will be live for us to enjoy at some point. So... Placeholder content got you riled up? To each his own. Already had more than enough fun here to justify my initial purchase! Bang for your buck, right? Would fork over for the expansion pass without a second thought... if I didn't have it already!!!

4 RespuestasEditado por LukasMalk: 10/13/2014 9:46:49 PMI hate how people defend Destiny and say: Yeah they try to make money, it's a business dude! But I think no one has ever released a unfinished game and wanted money to complete the story!!! As much as I enjoy Destiny, the story is shit, and makes no sense at all. That's fact. And now I need to pay for content which is already developed and on the -blam!-ing disc to understand and finish the story!! This is something no one can defend in any way.

69 RespuestasEditado por Copen: 10/12/2014 12:39:37 AMWe (the players) are being extorted by having to pay more money to finish the game. I've been gaming over 25 years and I've never once played a game where you have to pay more money just to finish the game and it's disgusting. People will defend Bungie and try to justify it but it's a bad joke. After being misled about what this game was supposed to be they owe it to all of us to make it right and give everyone the DLC at no charge it really is the right thing to do but it won't happen. Activision ruins another game such a tragedy.

3 RespuestasDon't matter. I've seen them all on youtube. Lmao. So there's no ''surprise'' for me to what the dlc's may contain anymore.

5 RespuestasRight! Gosh darn developers creating sequels because they never really finished the story in the first game. They should give me those games for free because I paid for the first one and deserve to see the story the whole way through since it didn't finish on the first. And then developers have the gall to charge me for DLC that expands on the story?! What the heck is up with that? I demand everything for free now and forever as long as I pay for the base first game.

8 RespuestasWe will just have to see when the DLC comes out. If the DLC is just these areas with mobs then we were ripped off. The graphics for areas take up the most data and with Destiny looking as good as it does it takes a lot of time and people to make it look like that
-
2 Respuestasyou can see another in old russia. they said during the E3 demo that the area out there is fully developed, every rock and every tree and you may be sent there some day.

1 RespuestaDestiny is a good game, the graphics and gameplay experience is amazing but the only problem is they cut down the story and repetitiveness. I found the game incredibly boring because I kept doing the same thing over and over again, I will NOT be getting the expansion packs, I'd rather invest in another game where I can have fun shooting stuff and level up. I had higher hopes for bungie and this game, I wouldn't bother with another titles from bungie and activision again. That's all I have to say.
