Implying that aiming an Auto Rifle doesn't take skill.

Spray and Pray dddddddddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It doesn't, ARs have heavy aim assist. Hand cannons have none.
-
I use Hand cannons almost exclusively, and they have tons of aim assist. More than ARs, but you don't have to hit people with every bullet from the AR.
-
Then I must have turned off my aim assist and still manage a 1.8KDR which would make me a king among men. I only use Hand Cannons and have 2 days 10 hours played in Rumble. The lack of aim assist was the first thing I noticed.
-
So you're telling me that the 0 recoil SUROS Regime takes skill?
-
Let me guess. You dont have the Suros D:
-
He prob doesn't.
-
doctor nope takes skill
-
Exactly you have to move, and aim at the same time while you're rifle is bouncing up and down!
-
It takes skill, but it takes a lot less skill than every other weapon (besides shotties and fusions) in the game.
-
AR are in almost every MP game yet everyone says they are to easy. Still I think it's unfair to assume that someone isn't good just because they use an auto rifle. It is the best weapon in this game. In BO2 the FAL was the best and that's what I used
-
I don't understand how fusion rifles are a no-skill weapon. Timing the charge, fighting the absurd recoil at anything further than close range, trying to get every shot to hit on a moving/ jumping/ sliding/ gliding/ blinking target. Someone please tell me the secret to using the fusion rifles that makes them as easy to use as shot guns. I love fusion rifles, prefer them over shot guns, and would love even more to find out how to more easily wield them.

Constantly tap RT to charge it, get a FR with low charge, only use it in close range (the range it's meant for), and bam. OP weapon.
-
the range it's meant for
Sounds to me like that's playing toward the weapon's strengths. What idiot is going to use a fusion rifle at long range (excluding the mythoclast)? Even with a low charge rate, any player can get at least 2 shots off with a shotgun before a FR blast. That's enough time to try and avoid the blast, granted you identified the opponent is using a FR. That's like taking a shot gun to a sniper battle, losing to the sniper, and then complaining that sniper rifles are OP because they were used at the range they're meant for.

Editado por TheBadBK: 10/9/2014 5:32:36 PMExcept for the fact that FRs still OHK at medium range. Apologies for trying to answer your question.
-
No apology necessary. You didn't do anything wrong. FRs will kill at medium range IF you can control the stupid ridiculous recoil to get every shot land. That's not easy to do in the least. Especially in PvP where everyone is running and jumping around. It's a high risk - high reward weapon. I think it fits its role perfectlly.
-
Aim for the toes. At mid range the blast will rise up and all but maybe the last one or two bolts will land including one or two headshots. OHK

Fusion Rifles are unable to do precision damage. Whether the head gets hit or not, the bolts do the same damage as they would for hitting any other part of the body. That said, Shotguns can do precision damage for no reason in particular, just like Fusion Rifles can't do precision damage.
