Would halo be the game it is today without Microsoft's marketing campaign? Probably not. I mean it's a great game but I think we have Microsoft to thank for making it a household name. Then after blowing halo up which essentially made bungie what it is today Microsoft allowed bungie to buy itself back and become an independent company again. Sounds like getting your cake and eating it to if you ask me. So I am wondering why you all haven't supported the Xbox like you do the playstation? Don't you all think you owe Microsoft a bit? It's a little bit messed up if you ask me. Why not exclusives for the Xbox? How about some master chief armor? A special mount or ship? What about the halo assault rife? I just would think you all would help Microsoft like they helped you all? The Xbox controller was pretty much designed for this game after all so we all know it plays better on the Xbox controller than the duel shock, which has the unfortunate problem of the duel shock joy sticks bumping together. Throw us Xbox people some exclusive love dang it! We supported you and now you all should support us.
Would halo be the game it is today without Microsoft's marketing campaign?
would xbox even exist today, were it not for halo? probably not.
Then after blowing halo up which essentially made bungie what it is today Microsoft allowed bungie to buy itself back and become an independent company again.
lol, that isn't what happened.....Bungie split off from microsoft, as an LLC.....and continued to partner with microsoft for projects, for a few years afterward.
So I am wondering why you all haven't supported the Xbox like you do the playstation?
because they're no longer required to?
Don't you all think you owe Microsoft a bit?
oh, you mean the 7 years that microsoft literally owned them, wasn't enough?
Why not exclusives for the Xbox?
because they didn't feel like it? or maybe because the microsoft games division didn't offer a deal?
How about some master chief armor? A special mount or ship? What about the halo assault rife?
how about, that IP belongs to microsoft, and is managed by 343? you really don't get how all that works, do you?
I just would think you all would help Microsoft like they helped you all?
again, i'm fairly certain Bungie did more for Microsoft...if anything, Microsoft should be thanking Bungie, for making their console a success...because without Halo, Xbox would have fell flat on it's face.
The Xbox controller was pretty much designed for this game after all
no it wasn't....where do you GET this shit?
so we all know it plays better on the Xbox controller than the duel shock
this is just f**king retarded. oh, and it's "dual"...plz learn to spell.
which has the unfortunate problem of the duel shock joy sticks bumping together
.....no they don't...what the f**k are you talking about?
Throw us Xbox people some exclusive love dang it! We supported you and now you all should support us.
they did support you...for 7 years, with an entire exclusive franchise, and a successful gaming platform, for you to latch onto, and fanboy for... PLEASE tell me this post is satire, and that you're not really this stupid.

What a dumb -blam!-

Get this on your head. MONEY TALKS BULLSHIT WALKS.
-
Because Sony gave them more money. Simple as that, they didn't turn on anyone. It's business 101, somebody throws a shit load of money at your game and says "we want exclusives" the developer will probably do it.

2 RespuestasI had 5 360's explode so I went to Sony. The way I see it, Microsoft still owes me.
-
Cause Sony coughed up a lot of money to have all these exclusives where as Microsoft did not

dude what a retard. marathon was like the reason to own a mac. they were great before microsoft (wisely) grabbed them. they helped microsoft.

1 RespuestaTruth be told Halo pulled the floundering Xbox out of the fire. MS recognized what could potentially be a great game and went after it. Before Halo the Xbox just wasn't selling. They promoted Halo because they desperately needed a selling point for their new console.
-
1 RespuestaLooking at the history of xbox. I'd say bungie helped MS. Not the other way around. If it wasn't for halo, there would be no xbox.

I am amazed that so very few people don't understand how money works. It's not like destiny is a ps exclusive, and If a company handed me 10 million dollars ( or something around there) I would put more than a couple exclusive things in their version of the game. Especially if it's only for a year.

Look at the date :/

Joy sticks bumping together? You dont own a ps4
-
Probably because Microsoft took bungies baby (halo) and completely shit on it by letting 343 do all they've done to that franchise.

Editado por OdinsDaDdy: 2/2/2015 6:57:19 PMMicrosoft helped bail bungie out when they were failing and in turn their game put Xbox on the map and helped make it what it is today. So it was mutual. Bungie is free to chase other money now. Deej already said in an interview they they are working on more xbox exclusive stuff. Get over it. Edit: Damn, old post

1 RespuestaIsn't that content exclusive for 1 year? Won't we get it down the line too?
-
Money. Ps4 probably paid more money than Microsoft wanted to. Microsoft probably didn't want destiny to outsell some of the games that they were releasing or due to release. In the end it's about the money.

How did microsoft help???? They bought halo
-
I got an xbox just for halo. B4 that I was playing GTA and madden on the playstation
-
They used to work together but business is business. The fact of the matter is that bungie came to Sony and Microsoft and said hey if you put in an extra bit of content then your players will have access to specific content. Sony paid for it but Microsoft refused

2 RespuestasEditado por H6LO: 2/2/2015 5:47:41 PMBungie created friends list and the matchmaking system that Microsoft later had implemented as a standard feature for their system. The ONLY reason to buy an Xbox back in the early 2000's was for Halo...
