Purple Engrams Have Left the Building!
Since the new patch for drops went live, I haven't seen a single purple engram drop at all. I knew the drop rate would be nerfed, but not to the point of non-existent. (shrug)

All I'll say is I'm finally seeing them after a solid 2 months of [i]nothing[/i]. It's about damn time, too. I had more exotic weapons than legendary ones!

Ive had 3 drop this week! Probably going to be the last ones ill get for a month or two... But at least i set a personal record...

Just got another one yesterday. :) It was for a primary weapon and turned into ascendant shards. :(

I had one drop in the weekly and got 2 more as rewards from the weekly. Only 3 I have seen since the patch.

I've had four purple engrams turn exotic in the past two days.

Since the patch I've only gotten 1 legendary and that was from the cryptart reward from leveling him up... After 26 lvl -_- I literally get nothing, I either have bad luck or bungie is -blam!-ing me over. When I play the iron banner I see ppl coming in last place with 5 kills and 20 death, but yet they get rewarded with a legendary engram or a exotic weapon while I'm over here carrying the team with a 3.0 kd and get a warm steaming pile of shit as a reward

Iv had one drop on the moon during a patrol, maybe 30 hours of game play or more post patch..... It was a shard of course

Drop rates got silent nerfed. I havnt gotten a legendary from the cryptarch in 9 levels.....

2 RespuestasThe way I look at it, the patch didn't change much. Just imagine all those purples that turned blue pre-patch, they're blues now. And all the purples you got that actually stayed purple pre-patch (not very many), well they're the only purples you'll see drop anymore.

3 RespuestasI've had the same problem, did a handful of iron banners, crucibles, strikes, daily heroics, got a handful of yellow engrams, and blue and none turned to purple or yellow. Even when I got purple packages at the postmaster from completing events in one day (5-6) of them yesterday, not one purple anything all blue, and one to none of shards, lights, or energy.

I've gotten two over the last two days from drops, but they've both been class items...

I got one yesterday with my Warlock and it turned into Legendary boots for my Titan. Not a total loss. I was actually hoping it would be because I just bought legendary boots for my Warlock a few days ago. Having multiple characters definitely makes those moments easier to swallow.

Since the patch I've found 12, four in the post after levelling up my crypt lvl and the the other eight in chests

I got a purple from weekly strikes and it turned into lucky raspberry so I'm not complaining

Been playin since launch. Only ever got one legendary drop it was a day before the patch. Turned into materials. Lame

I was astonished to see one drop last night. You know when you are on Venus that first place where you go into town where there's about 3 dregs, 3 shanks and a vandal? I was just sparrowing about between patrol missions. Hopped off there and blew them away and one of the shanks dopped a purple that the cryptarch turned into a hand cannon "Lord High Fixer". I almost dropped dead from the shock of it !! (I'm not a fan of hand cannons - what a shame there's no trading!!)

I think I have had three drop from enemies, and maybe 5 from missions, and the same from the Cryptarch packages
