Yes, I still play and try to find enjoyment in this game. There is some to be had, however I still think bungie dropped the ball in terms of content.

It was not what I was hoping to have. I got bored already. It was a good game, but not as HUGE as it was advertised. The best things they've done was to create that huge expectation in all of us.

What if i told you that bungie have no say in what goes on and its all activision. Bungie has taken a big risk making this and the dun goof. this games a flop until the DLCs (yay...) come out

I'm trying, believe me, I'm trying. But it is becoming more difficult with each passing day. There is a severe lack of content that will eventually dwindle my time with this game, at least until the xpac comes out. I'm hoping that with the expansion Bungie takes the opportunity to really flesh out the story by making better use of patrols (quests) to do so.

Tried sticking with Destiny as Lon as I could, but queens wrath was disappointing, especially after they nerfed the mats; and iron banner equally as dissapointing. Been playing Forza Horizon 2 in my free time, "beat it" and it has a better open world, better end game, and better MMO feel than destiny :-/

You know, I got my weeklies done on Tuesday and now I'm not so sure. I tried starting a new character last night and I was just so uninspired to go through all that stuff again. I might be done playing as frequently as I have, I'll probably just jump on and complete my weeklies and check Xur from now on.

I was, and still have some interest in playing the content to a small extent. But with many of the choices they've made it's come to one thing: what's the point? The RPG portion would have you do the normal gear build-up, but with IB and how they do rarities on items and ATK and DEF values in general, there simply isn't a reason. Common sniper rifles can do more without any upgrades in both PvP and PvE over exotic and legendary ones. You can get the vendor legendary gear and one exotic and hit lvl 29; which is more than you need for PvE and doesn't matter in PvP. People can bring up hard mode VoG, but what is the reason to do it? Most people skip straight to Atheon to glitch him for their shot at the Mythlocaster. You don't need high end gear for that, and the armor upgrade doesn't matter over normal VoG anyways. Not in PvE or PvP, since the Defense value seems to really have no effect that is appreciable in the game. So mostly I just find myself asking why for a lot of the stuff. I could farm up normal raid, and then raise it up to the higher defense hard mode version, but there's no reason to. That's just a bunch of extra hours spinning around in a farming circle to get the helium filament to once again do another 80 per armor piece. That's not enjoyable, and there isn't any actually felt benefit to doing so. Considering they talked about needing to get high end gear, to actually take on the challenges of their later content, it seems like they over-estimated their coding ability in making a game like that. All that matters is light level, and the way they set the mechanics up means there isn't even a good reason to do their best offering of Hard mode Vault of Glass. Just skip to Atheon, glitch, leave. And by skipping all the pointless upgrades, you don't even need the Ascendant material you miss by skipping so much. You can get the exotic chances from the weeklies and dailies anyways, and since there isn't new content until December everyone will likely have all exotics even without the rest of VoG. Plus they just got lazy tossing all the end game armor and most of the weapons as helium filament. I really don't want to see the moon again, and the lack of gear really mattering at all doesn't make me want to waste all those hours when there's no benefit to it. Which is what starts the domino effect of not caring. Don't want to do X, and don't need Y for what there is, so there's no reason to farm the game the way they intended. Also the dumb shortcuts they toss in and then take out means you can skip playing, and just jump in and catch up in hours later on, for what others spent weeks getting in all likelihood. Iron Banner gear costing only 10 marks as an example. It's like they had no clue how to make an RPG aspect of the game, and just threw whatever together. Rarity doesn't matter, common crap is often better than legendary and exotic. Gear doesn't matter, enough light works for PvE and everywhere else just doesn't matter. The slightly better VoG hard mode armor isn't worth wasting hours farming the moon for again, and doesn't change much anyways. They completely missed the idea that there might need to be an incentive, for people to actually do the things they want us to.

Honestly, the last few days have been meh. It's not the games fault. It's hockey season and I find myself playing nhl 15 right now. I still log on to play some pvp. I'm trying to get to rank 3 for the Hex Caster AR. Lately, things feel like a chore. The devils play tonight so I won't be playing much.

Sadly, this morning marked the first day I decided to play something else other than Destiny for the first time in exactly a month since it released. I'm sure I'll jump in for occasional sessions with friends who are trying to catch up for a raid, but right now I'm just out of things to do. Same bounties every day in one of four locations, grinding for things I don't need. There's no matchmaking for any of the Nightfalls or Raids, so I'm stuck waiting for friends who, based on current pace, could take months to get high enough for a raid (they're all men with careers, families, and only limited time to play). Destiny was a wonderful game. I enjoyed it more than any I've played in years. But my back is against the wall here, and I'm just out of reasons to play other than to help out a buddy once in a while.

I love this game I hated it when I was stuck leveling at 24 but now I have two hunters level 29 and 28 check me out they are my babies, and I rp that they're brother and sister too I FREAKING LOVE DESTINY

Sure the game has flaws but still find it fun to play and hopefully flaws etc will get fixed/sorted out

I love this game as well. I just wish they'd add some new bounties, public events & patrols. Almost 5 week in & we're still doing the exact same daily shit we did on day 1.

I'm still enjoying the content, mainly because I'm playing with a fun crew. If I was running solo, or getting stuck with randoms that I couldn't talk to, I'd probably be bored and/or frustrated. While I'm still enjoying the current content that Bungie is taking flack for, I wish they would include some more creative elements into their strikes that they included in the Vault of Glass. You know, just to break up the rinse and repeat Tank and Spank bullet-sponge of a boss thing they've got going for their strikes... I understand this would be difficult to implement with the current lack of an easy and open chat system. The only way to explain a fight to a first timer would be to invite them to a party chat... Or try to play a fun game of charades with shooting, pointing, waving, and interpretive dance.

i still like it, i have my main account, and two main accounts for farming for my main. Sure the game has its flaws, but to truly enjoy a game you have to look past the flaws which not that many people are doing.
