The only benefit to iron banner is the crappy
purples that can break down into shards. Even then, if you're fully geared at 29/30, it becomes even more useless. The only plus side, as minimal as it is, is probably the paint jobs, and that's it.

Something tells me you're right. If it's that easy to get and they did the same with TQW, they'll do it again. Oh well, Raid gear here I come.

The stats on armour pieces provide almost nothing. The only thing that benefits you is light. No reason to trade your +27 gear for another +27 gear.
