If the shotguns get nerfed to hard, people will switch to Fusion or Sniper rifles. I believe they need to rework the special weapons TTK (Time to kill) and possibly the melee for standard crucible playlists. Example: Shotguns requiring 3 shots (2 for shield, one for standard health) Fusion Rifles: 2 bursts, shields down, then hit. I think snipers are fine since they are a niche weapon. I'm sure the melee would also need a slight tweak so it doesn't just outclass the shotgun in close range, or all weapons would need a slight tweak. I'm cool with people responding with ideas, I'm just not gonna spend time defending my idea.
