Both games are fantastic. But be patient my friends and watch Destiny evolve into the game it's suppose to be.

Evolve into the game it's supposed to be? So I am supposed to wait and pay for it to evolve into what it was supposed to be when it was released? Right.
-
Lol I can't believe the cheap people that play this game I've logged PLENTY of hours it's well worth 60 dollars, I don't thing the ever said hey your going to have the whole story on release! Kudos to you kids feeling so entitled to stuff mmo with no monthly fee just an expansion every few months for 20 dollars. Which is not a bad price.
-
It's not entitlement. It's demand for a decent product for the money you spend. You're obviously a kid, because you have no concept or grasp on what entitlement is, nor do you have any idea how story telling works. Here's a clue: Beginning-middle-end. If there is more, it continues or concludes the story that is already been told. If destiny had chapters 1-10, they gave you chapters 3,4 and 7 on release. It is lazy, stupid story telling. If you think otherwise, they you are hopelessly lost in your own cognitive dissonance.

Editado por Queen of Despair: 10/5/2014 8:03:00 PMthe point of destiny is to have a Beginning, Middle and no end, they are trying to break the conventional rules of story telling with a "living" world, they are doing something different. its people like you that causes inovation to fail "I DEMAND MORE INOVATIVE GAMES" -handed destiny- "THIS GAME HAS NO STORY!!! THIS SUCKS!!" There is story there YOU ARE A GUARDIAN, doing daily activities that guardians do you are no more special in this universe than the next guardian It's people like you why games that are the same always appear on the shelf year on year out Edit: Think Second life

Editado por IshihadoX: 10/5/2014 8:05:25 PMYeah, people play games that puts them into a character that is special: someone that is the "one", that saves the universe or gets the bad guy or rescues the girl. Not to just be an average "joe" doing simple tasks that everyone else in that world does. Also, Destiny had no beginning and hardly a middle, so...

That is poor logic indeed. Lets try this...you buy the big new sci-fi novel that is being advertised absolutely everywhere, the one that was 7 years in development, was written by a famous and well respected author who made all sorts of promises about the quality of it's epic story, yet to your utter disgust you discover that the story has been butchered and generally makes no sense. It feels like it was post edited at random by a blind person. You then find out the publisher is telling their customers to "be patient" as the actual story will come...in future sequels...at a hefty price. Bungie and Activision sold us what they represented as a complete product...it shouldn't need years of DLC to make it complete. DLC should ADD to the story, not BE the story. Bungie and Activision are looking more and more like EA, and it's not a good look. AT ALL.
-
You need to think about the base game as season 1 the story is far from over.
-
The story is far from over? How can you tell? Did it even begin? If the story in season 1 of any show was this bad I would not be interested in season 2.
-
It did begin and that's all it did, I'm not here to argue. But I know it's not over the doc for this game are "expansion" not dlc with a few measly map packs.
-
Season 1 of anything actually explains what is going on.
-
I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain!.... It's a pain but have you even read all the grimoir cards and actually played attention? Lol not trying to be a dick.
-
Yes, my Grimoire score is about 2 grand and I've read all the card I have...they "explain" very little, just offer snippets of broken info that hardly form a coherent story. If the story made sense there wouldn't be so many threads about story theories. People are actually making up THEIR OWN story to fill in the huge blanks.
-
Grimoir cards need to EXPAND the story, not be the story, like many have said before. I believe the content was torn apart for DLC, and the grimoir was just some last minute BS thrown together.
-
this, i agree with the opinion it was torn apart per activisions request and view that everyone playing destiny would also not understand the original content that was intended for destiny
-
I agree with you. You shouldn't have to log onto bungie to read the story of the video game. But I feel like a lot is unexplained because the plot is much deeper than most people think I'm sure there are gunna be plenty of twists.

Did you read the reddit post from the whistle blower/tester? Comparing that to now, this story has been torn to shreds. Fak I'm hungry, shredded chicken burrito.... mmm
