Well, i've finally beaten Thorn's exotic bounty and i'm completely dissapointed because it has a low impact along with the low magazine size and low reload speed so it doesn't sounds that much of a beast in comparision to my best handcannon so far which is Regulator MK.56 (see image above) but since it is lvl 19 rare ,i can't use it :(
This is why i making this topic since i want to know what is the handcannon that i should look for in this game .

Non-exotics it'd have to be between one of my currently existing ones; Timur's Lash, 13 rounds with Gunslinger's Trance makes very quick work of even level 30 Hob-Gob majors (3 shot), Outlaw and Grenadier work well together. (I switch the Field Scout with Counterbalance in PvP. Red Hand IX, 10 round base mag, EXTREME STABILITY! This thing is the VoC of HandCs, you can also switch the Counterbalance for an egregiously large buff from Send It, makes it's low base range surpass all but Timur's Lash.

Editado por Jurgen Blitz: 11/11/2014 1:49:03 PMMy love is split between Lord High Fixer (two different damage buffs for reload/kills) and Devil You Know (improved range/last bullet extra damage/fast reload). Would like to try Fatebringer at some point. Of course, until the RNGenie blesses me and gives me a Hawkmoon...
-
I'm on Xbox so the hawkmoon is out but so far the best one I've used is the lord high fixer
-
Hawkmoon

i have thorn, the devil u know, last word, and highlord fixer. and hands down highlord fixer. i want fatebringer sooooo bad
-
Fatebringer.

I got Thorn from the bounty and it is my favorite gun in the game. I just recently maxed it out too.
-
i have gotten last word, hawkmoon and thorn. overall hawkmoon rocks the boat. i dont even have the 2+ lucky bullets perk unlocked and its beasting on pvp and pve. last word is almost fully upgraded, and its a pvp gun imo. it recks havoc on pvp since theres only 2 long range maps. its still good AF from mid range. thorn is cool for pvp but it sucks at reloading and it more of a long range one. hawkmoon da shit.

3 Respuestasrare are better at fighting low level enemies(rare do more damage or impact) nd pvp but Exotics are waaay better fighting higher level (the rare lose impact and damage on higher level enemies) But...exotics can be way better in pvp only if u know how to use tgeir perks right.

id say a big chief , very good all around

Love my Hawkmoon, just got the last word and I got to say it's fun as hell.

3 RespuestasLast Word is pretty damn strong. Smaller clip and not your best option at longer ranges. But the DPS for that clip is insane (Especially if you're a hunter with Chain of Woe to make up for it). In PvP it might be the best simply because it can kill so damn fast. But I've heard Hawkmoon and Thorn do well too once they're upgraded. Pretty much any purple Hand Cannon seems to earn a ton of praise around here. I'd say find one with an upgrade you like and go for that one.
-
Once upgraded it rocks, even better if your a hunter.
-
The ghost bro, it your ghost.
-
hawkmoon

The devil you know. The thing about thorn, it shines in crucible, but works more as a tool in pve. Thorn keeps the enemies shields from regenerating so quickly. Gives your crew enough time to reload.
-
The devil you know. Precise and fast handling :)
-
The Last Word. Its the only hand cannon I have not dismantled.....I think. I just got it yesterday from a strike reward. Never thought I would get an exotic as a reward.
-
Hands down its The Last Word

The Thorn is honestly the best I have used. It's impact is enough to get the job done against anything other than a boss or super heavily shielded enemy. It could use a bigger mag or faster reload, but it really is good once it is upgraded past the vanilla version. You get damage over time eventually (which seems to do more damage than explosive rounds in other hand cannons), and the stability can be upgraded so that you can fire fast and stay on target. On top of this, it will eventually receive a buff as well. I wouldn't pass it off as bad quite yet.
