The Vex Mythoclast makes me want to quit playing Crucible
This gun is the most ridiculously OP weapon in the game. Did you EVEN TEST THIS GUN BUNGIE.
It fired almost as fast as a full auto and does 56 damage per shot when your dumb character has a maximum of 225 health with toughness all the way up. It's essentially a 4 shot kill with an extremely high rate of fire.
This gun LITERALLY makes me want to stop playing MP. I'm not even joking right now. I just encountered this gun twice in a row on matchmaking. This gun actually makes me not want to go into matchmaking. It's that bad.

1 RespuestaAren't all guns equal in PvP and even in Iron Banner the differences between guns made smaller? If so I see no reason whatsoever to change this gun. People that have it are just probably really good at the game and would get a lot of kills regardless of the weapon they were wielding.

Sorry, but if you've got a K/D of 1.0 or less with a vex it's not because the gun doesn't need to be nerfed, it's because you're -blam!-ing incompetent. To the blithering idiots defending this gun with any number of shakily put together excuses... MOST of the people who got this gun, did so by -blam!-ing cheating the last boss. Where I come from those people would have been banned for at least a week, and their shit would get stripped away. "Boo-hoo earned it" my ass. Last night every game I was in had a at least one Mythoclast. I actually saw one player limiting his use of it so that everyone wouldn't quit. My team would sneek back in front, and the he would whip it out again. Was like one player had a heavy machine gun as a primary with unlimited ammo. I was able to maintain a KD of 1 most of the time (over about 5 games), but I did considerably worse than normal, and my team just got smashed. We generally lost by 10,000 points in control. What the fark is Iron Banner for, if its not for the Mythoclast? So a level 5 can destroy a level 30 in Iron Banner, but the Mythoclast is allowed in crucible? Did someone drop you guys on your heads when you were born Bungie? That is so stupid, I can't find the words to express how stupid it is. I think Bungie have made a serious error of judgement which if not changed will drop their PvP player base like a stone as Mythoclast becomes more common. And anyone who says they earned it, you didn't earn it in the cruicble, your Mythoclast has nothing to do with people who want to play PvP.

The gun has pros and cons, its not all powerful. Anyone who has the gun knows how to counter it because even though the gun is good it has its weak spots. I generally switch between suros and vex because the vex is only good in certain circumstances.

2 RespuestasDoes 56 a shot to headshots. And recoil is bad until you get consistent hits on a player. It is outraged by ars, scout rifles, snipers. Up close it still losses to shotguns. It is amazing in mid range if you can consistently get headshots. Yes the gun is strong but it has its weaknesses and can be countered. People seriously need to strafe and jump more often.

18 RespuestasHoly crap, I cannot believe the amount of comments here demonstrating that the same community from Halo has such a little understanding of good, balanced multiplayer. People saying that you just need to get better or get the Mythoclast are completely missing the point. Sure, I could become the worlds best Destiny player and beat the majority of players using it, but the fact remains that if I ever played against myself, with one of me using the Mythoclast, one using any other gun, I would lose 100% of the time, since the gun is objectively better than every other primary. So obviously I just need to beat the raid and get the Mythoclast then. Multiplayer becomes dominated by Mythoclasts for general combat and shotguns in close range. Worst multiplayer ever, everyone quits, enjoy your OP gun while it lasts. People defending it better get ready for a nerf, because unlike you, Bungie has a clue about competive multiplayer, and don't want to see the multiplayer turn into a complete piece of shit where everyone only uses one gun at the risk of disadvantaging themselves heavily.

Then get one, i don't have it, my suros without upgrades have a great damage/ROF at distance unlike the VM in crucible, i have been killed by this gun several times but i also got to kill the users of it, i'm not a great pvp player but it's possible, if i've done it, anyone can, just take it easy and have a break from pvp, it helped me a lot.

That goes for anyone who bitches and wines about any gun or ability. Anything can be beat by using your -blam!-ing brains instead of crying like a little baby bitch that you can't beat it, think for once in your god damn life. 19 RespuestasShut up. If you had it you would use it. I played hours on hours on the raid hard mode leading my group to the end and when we beat it 3 of us got it and we earned it. That is the hardest content in the game the raid on hard. They better give something good that gives you the edge in a broken pvp where everyone uses shotguns.
