So, instead of wasting space on cheeky responses to nonsense and minor trivial issues, how about addressing the elephant in the middle of the room- why the story is so nonexistent, the changes that were made last year that made the disjointed feel, the worlds feeling empty and small, the campaigns feeling unimaginative, etc.? The world not being rich or compelling? The fact that it is a $500 million 1998 button masher game with zero ingenuity or compelling reason to follow the story? If you really have been following the internet, clearly you know this is the biggest beef people have with the game. *Not* f-ing loot or multiplayer matching blah blah. This game could have been the greatest epic in the last 10 years.

Mad cuz bad?
-
I think they'll make the next one better
-
You seem pissed. It isn't the type of game you wanted. There is no reason to be mad. I agree that the story wasn't great. I felt disconnected. But take it for what it is, a fps with diablo style story and loot.
-
also if they made the maps bigger because they arent big at all and there is so much empty space where nothing happens and there are no -blam!-ing random caves or areas to go explore tht are aside from what the mission took you through, to go explore and fight random new bosses at the end of for epic loot, this game is so single minded and narrow and repetitive and theres no variety to anything, the ai is retarded, the barriers are just stupid, there is no story, nobody wants to go learn about the game from an external source when thats a terrible way to make a games lore learned, this game is so -blam!-ed and lazy and very little effort and thought went into it and iv lost faith in bungie at this point just because of how bad this game is
-
Just like how EQ was when that first came out
-
Exactly
-
Thank you.
-
Ditto summed it up perfectly!
-
To be honest I think most of the money that didn't go to marketing went to the development of grognok, a new dev engine that allows quick and easy developing. Therefore I'm certain that there will be no end of new content in the coming months. Free or paid, it will come
-
They spent 500 mill on this game?
-
That's right. One of the most expensive games in history, if not the most.
-
Yeah, no they didn't. 500mill for the 10 year comet.
-
Not just game. If I read it right, it is the most expensive media project in history. That covers movies, TV shows, etc... o_O
-
There's no way that this outcost stuff like Avatar, but it's still an obscene amount of money
-
Editado por Nen Rx: 10/4/2014 7:50:15 PMActually... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar_(2009_film). And here as well... http://www.dailynewsen.com/technology/is-destiny-the-most-expensive-video-game-ever-made-h2613852.html. So yeah, Destiny did cost more than Avatar. Much more. And Avatar is the most expensive movie ever made. So Destiny is the most expensive media project ever produced.

This game Is -blam!-ing boring!!!!!!!!! What the -blam!- happened!!!!!!!

Editado por Ridley: 10/4/2014 5:13:27 PMyes this! do you guys think you're fooling most of us? don't let the die hard fanboys fool you into a false sense of security, that bubble will pop soon enough. quit catering to the lowest common denominator and realize that the majority of us are intelligent beings who crave rich and deep story telling, and what you have shown us so far isn't cutting it. continue to insult our intelligence and you will reap our wrath instead of pocketing our hard earned money. bungie, you have been warned....
-
Totally agree! They put instant money in front of artistry. Congratulations bungie you had a good payday releasing this game. You could have reaped a lot more if you gave us what you originally planned too. Anyone who buys expansions for this crap without strong reassurances from bungie that they will return the game to the original vision of what it was supposed to be is a total lemming and a hindrance to the gaming community.
