It's unfortunate bungee so consumed by control. This article gives a false impression that they want to make up for the sins of the cryptarch. However your words are the worst kind propaganda in that you have never atoned for the sins of the Cryptarch. All you've done is substituted one bad idea, not allowing purple endgrams to be purple legendary drops or above, with even worse idea of dropping so few purple that right now I'm ready to quit this game vote with my pocketbook and never purchase another destiny DLC or game ever again in the future if this is not corrected. I have been grinding hundreds of hours as are many others since the patch & I've had less purple drops, by the way which are never weapons now, then I have had all the time when purples were mostly blue. Battlefield is the only game that rivals the frustration level that comes from trying to rank up in this game. Because of its content battlefield should have been an epic game that surpassed all of their first-person shooters in the past. However they made it so difficult for players to rank up that only the few that started early were able to the achieve the ranks and levels that so completely dominated every other player in the game that people gave up on it. and as a result battlefield is an epic fail rather than an epic game. The proof is you can now buy the stupid game for about $15 online. Unfortunately it appears that bungee's going this route. If Just mediocre success of the overall series is all that you're looking for you archieved that already but if you want to achieve success like the call of duty series you had better move quickly to correct peoples inability to acquire even halfway decent weapons and gear. there are so few legendary or higher drops now and almost all of those drops are now anything but weapons, rivals the stupidity of battlefield and will mirror their mediocre success. Titan fall is a recent example of a game that shot like a meteor of interest at the beginning but fell off so rapidly there's almost nobody that plays the game anymore on a regular basis. Right now destiny is heading in that direction and if not fixed is doomed to fall into this category.

You know I bet no one would min if you got Iron Banner rep as well with the On the Bright Side... medal. You know. Cause they are the best in the match. Thus the medal. And its pretty impossible to carry your team in control

So overall I like the game. Personally I think Bungie should dive deeper into the story with further updates. Though I'm having an issue, and I was curious to see if I'm the only one. This is supposed to be an MMO, but whenever I play, I never see another player anywhere. The Tower, and planets are completely void of other players. I can't seem to connect to matchmaking of any kind, be it the Crucible or just regular strikes. I'm stuck at the searching screen. That and the game keeps booting me off the server. Is this a server issue, or am I doing something wrong?
