What was your best/most rewarding momentum destiny? Mine was either getting my exotic helm (went ballistic when it came from a leg. Engram, went super saiyan when I saw it was for the warlock) or completing the nightfall for the first time.

When I was sitting behind this wall pouring bullets into some boss bored as hell. So sad this game is so far behind the old Bungie standard.

When I stopped equipping rare gear and weapons.

1 RespuestaCompleting the weekly strike yesterday alone. I'm level 26 now and I really wanted to get some strange coins, due to me wasting almost all of them on Xür last weekend. I noticed the weekly strike gives 3 of them on the default difficulty, like it always does and 6 of them, if I bump it up a notch - to difficulty level 26.. so I did start it as a HARD level 26 strike. I did have the intention to invite a friend who was online, to come and do it with me, so I sent him an invite and continued playing ahead. He seemed to be away from his console, as he didn't reply and it just kept showing he's "in orbit" with his emblem not visible, probably meaning he was out of the game, in the ps4 menu's. Well, I kept on playing alone and it was going pretty well. I took it slow, sniping and scout rifling enemies from the distance. And then got to the part with the huge tank and took my sweet time popping the tank in it's weak spots with my sniper rifle, using secondary ammo synthesis which I had bough 20 of when I had maxed out my glimmer and didn't really find any use for it. I did die a few times as I made some mistakes and it one shotted me to death. Luckily the checkpoint was almost right before the big tank. So I took it extra carefully, firing away very sneakily and eventually, it died aswell. :) Tried sending another invite, as I really could've still used help for the final boss. But no, he wasn't there :/ So I kept on playing and got to the final boss. *sigh* "Here goes nothing..." (or everything ;)) I kept trying with the Striker subclass (Titan) and had pretty much luck while using the shoulder charge to manouver quickly, shooting at the main boss every now and then and then clearing up all the smaller enemies - preferably faster than they could surround me, but I always screwed up at some point.. got completely surrounded or totally owned by the bosses rockets while trying to deal with the smaller enemies. Then I changed to defender, just to make use of the Ward of Dawn "bubbleshield" - setting the "weapons of light" (damage boost given by the shield) perk on. I had noticed my legendary sniper rifle "The Supremacy" which I got from the Queens kill orders mission does quite alot of damage to the boss when I headshot him, so I decided to try how much damage I can do with a headshot if peeking out of the dawn of ward while the weapons of light perk is active. 2455 damage, on each shot :O And I still had plenty of secondary ammo fusions left - (and it wouldn't be a problem to wait for 5 minutes to refill again, as I had to keep actively killing the other enemies aswell) Another few failed attempts, but they showed promise; I got him to only 1/3 of his health left but often got killed by enemies who just happened to come out of the door I was next to and it all went to shit.. I didn't want to quit - as I had already invested so much of my time in the mission... But I still promised to myself; I'll try one more time... if this one doesn't work; I'll call it a night. Kept calm and collected, with every super I could, I just kept taking weapons of light and shooting him with my sniper rifle, popping in and out of the shield - then taking out the other enemies until I got another one. Alot of "almost" dead moments, and when he only had a half an inch of health, my heart was POUNDING - especially when my health went to about half an inch after one bad situation where I almost got surrounded and a few of his rockets hit me aswell.. but a super popped up, I took out psions on the level I were at, shot the phalanxes on the other side of the room, ran to the very end opposite of the boss, popped up my super to shield myself up and took the final shots... 982 damage... 982 damage... 982 damage... "headshots, where are you..." bob and weave! BOB AND WEAVE! 2455 damage! He crumbles up and dies - Dinklebot goes "GOT IT - I'll notify the tower blablabla"... I quickly run around the hall picking up blue engrams, house banners or whatever those things are that the cryptarch gives you a glorious 200 glimmer for and I dance. Oh boy do I dance. Even jumped up in the air doing at least a 1080 degree spinning around before I land and dance some more. 2 hours and 23 minutes - but I did it. Alone. YAAY. So far the biggest personal win in my books.. and very satisfying. Got my 6 strange coins. All I asked for :) Not that I'm saying this is the hardest of things anyone has ever accomplished - I'm sure people have bossed up much harder things, like the nightfall strike, but for me, this was a very satisfying victory :) And the end screen screenshots http://i.imgur.com/mBYQz4N.jpg Just to appease the skeptics - even though, again; I know this isn't exactly something to brag about :D (There just always seem to be those who doubt)

While doing patrols on the Moon, I threw my throwing knife at a Dreg. The knife landed directly between its legs. I was just outside of melee range...

1 RespuestaI was playing PvP on Mare Cognitum, the moon and I believe it was just team deathmatch. I was over by the building where Zone C is and I saw a blip on the radar. Then through the window of the building I see an opponent. We both just kinda stopped and stared at each other through the window (since there's no weapon in the game that can break through a pane of glass). I waved, and he/she waved back. Then we started dancing. We danced and danced. It was a simple moment of pure humanity. For that moment we were not enemies. We were humans. Two humans dancing, despite our predetermined rivalry. We eventually waved goodbye and parted ways. It was special.
