Vanguard Mentor Missive Bug
Juts handed in a couple bounties and got the Vanguard Mentor Missive bounty that simply reads hand in to the dude who gives bounties, However I cannot hand it in.
He has the green hand in symbol above his head but there is never the usual hand in prompt when you access him.
This is the second time this has happened, Anyone know a way to hand it in?
Abandoning the bounty gains me nothing so a better option is preferable especially since that is what I had to do the first time this happened 2 days ago.

same, I currently have the bad juju, thorn, and infective (which I already have) bounties and the pocket infinity and just got a mentor missive one and it hasn't let me turn in

I currently have the same issue. I've been told that if you currently have the same exotic bounties that that missive will give you on the go you can't turn it in until said exotic bounties are completed and turned in.

This is how it works. There are two different sets of 3 exotic bounties you can get from exotic bounties. If you have three exotic bounties already, the fourth one you get can not be turned in until you have less than three started. So if you get all three bounties in a set, there are no other bounties to give you. Once you finish one bounty and got the weapon, you can return to the guy and get another one started. If you still have the other two, you will get the bounty that completes the set. Simply once you finish for example thorns bounty and got the gun, you will only have two exotic bounties that are started left and you will be offered the thorn bounty again because it is in the set with the other two bounties you have.

1 RespuestaI HAVE INTERESTING NEWS. I finished the raid today and used the last of my Glimmer to finish off the Invective bounty I had. Once I did, I got the gun from Ikora, went to Xander and it unlocked the missive! Turns out it was A Dubious Task again... Maybe the glitch happens when you get two of the same bounty? The missives are predetermined so that could be what causes it.

2 RespuestasHey, I had this problem as well. I had three active exotic bounties in my inventory. Then I got a fourth one and it would not let me hand it into Xander. I believe this is your problem. I completed one of my other exotic bounties and then I was able to turn it in and get another exotic bounty. The bounty I finished was for invective. Then the new bounty was also for invective. It did not give me any options, just the one came up. I hope this wasn't too confusing and helped you a bit.

4 RespuestasI just ran into the same problem, I've completed Shattered Memory Fragment, and am in-process on Toland's Legacy, A Light in the Dark (ugh, that last step), and A Dubious Task. I figure it will probably give me an option once I complete one of them, but until then, it's eating up a precious bounty slot uselessly.

I have an account which is also seeing this problem: PSN Account: MomOfAnubis Active bounties: Depleted Hand Cannon, Darkness Infused Pulse Rifle, A Request From Ikora, & Vanguard Mentor Missive. Go to the Vendor, can't turn in the Vanguard Mentor Missive.
