I do not see why a group of strangers cannot work well to beat these so called extremely difficult mission. This system is simply making people go away from destiny.

1 RespuestaNo, people will be doing raids with no mics in or just AFK all the way though. "What wrong with writing a little post and making friends like the good old days of gaming where people talked to each other.
-
2 RespuestasThere's already too many level 26s trying to get carried through every one of the game's activities, raid matchmaking would only make the matter worse because there would always be randoms with absolutely no raid experience joining your team and dying all the time
I do not see why a group of strangers cannot work well to beat these so called extremely difficult mission. This system is simply making people go away from destiny.
Absolutely agree the matchmaking option has to be there for people struggling to create they're own fire team. I also agree that a message board in the tower is a good option the cherry pick a team. Why aren't bungie offering multiple options in creating fire teams for game modes?!?!?!
-
I have listed several (i think rather eloquent) reasons why matchmaking will be an insanely bad idea for Raiding, and for the community as a whole in my post here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/71257650

3 RespuestasYes it is retarded because now you have both #Destiny and #Gaming being flooded with LFG posts for Raids, Heroic, and Nightfall strikes.
-
I agree with you on the weekly strike but the raid does not need to be matchmaking. Unless you'd like to start complaining about how you can't eve get a good team
-
1 RespuestaAll we need is a kick player option and matchmaking would be sound
-
You're acting as if trolls and griefers don't exist. I hate to break it to you, but we don't live in a perfect world where everyone just gets along.
-
You really don't want to be doing the raid with a bunch of random people who may or may not know whats going on. It's easy enough to mess up if you have a coordinated group of people.
-
6 RespuestasIn all honesty i don't think this should happen. I can't count how many times i run strikes and someone is always either setting at the spawn until we clear to the boss or they set somewhere doing nothying while i clear the boss. Is there anything bungie does about it NO and yes i have made sure to report them just wish i knew of a place i could send in vids to prove it. B ut it will prolly be like CoD and nothing will be done!

Agreed. Enemy AI is brutal

1 RespuestaEditado por StickyFingers92: 10/2/2014 2:40:49 PMRaids/weekly/Nightfall/Daily should stay "friends invite only" as like someone else said you will get a lazy -blam!- just sitting there doing -blam!- all for the rewards.. And you can't even kick them
-
Agreed. Really the controlling question, why can't we have both? Superior teams will form outside of matchmaking and the rest of is can try our luck with strangers.
-
Agreed. 1000% agreed.
-
agreed... I mean I understand how they could fail miserably... but why not give em a chance?

9 RespuestasThe weekly strikes maybe but the raid definitely needs to stay as a pre made fire team. The coordination and communication required is integral to success and randoms with no mics/experience will cause more harm than good. I would rather take the time to check Destiny LFG and build a team than get match made with 5 other people that have no idea how to raid and we just wipe over and over and over. That way I can check mics/gear/xp before we start so I can examine fights/strategy etc. Making the raid easily accessible to everyone with a match making system is a bad idea as this is the top content currently available and requires some planning and communication not just good guns and gear.
-
4 RespuestasI personally would not want to attempt the Raid with 5 other unknowns. Way to much trial and error. I don't even want to help others outside my Raid-team because of their inexperience, lack of communication, and potential detromental play-style. One of our Raid-team member tried to help out two different randomly assembled teams last night, and he couldn't handle it anymore. Nobody wanted to listen, and everyone wanted to be the hero.

1 RespuestaThat little bar area would be a good lounge to find players. Say you cant launch event until everyone presses a button to show that there ready. Be able to kick ppl who are low lvl or with no mic from the group. They need something other than what they have now. Currently by using the forum; You still get random people, you still get unprepared players, groups still fail. It just takes longer and the forums are a cluster of post for raids and strikes.
-
Solo everything like a boss.
-
2 RespuestasJoin a clan. It's so simple. You could've completed the raid by now.
-
1 RespuestaWeeklies aren't that tough, I was able to solo Valus Ta'aurc, you just need patience, a good sniper rifle, and a contingency plan for reinforcements
-
1 RespuestaRaid prob won't work but for weekly strikes Definetely needed!
-
Would welcome it for weekly strikes but don't think it'd work so well for raid. I think giving people more options is never a bad thing though!
-
I agree with strike but not raid
-
It would be nice to have matchmaking for the raid but, it takes a lot of communication and teamwork. Playing through the raid I kept thinking how hard it would be to do with randoms. You have to have a dedicated group so people don't drop out mid raid.

1 RespuestaI agree. Also, Looking for two for the Weekly Strike! XBox 360, GT : DivineFenrir. I'm on now :D
