This game has me to the point were i need the dlc to have fun with it anymore, but that's just it i shouldn't have to pay 30$ for a half built game just to continue to have fun with it.
For example look at skyrim, no one in the first year of the game wanted or needed more dlc to still have fun with skyrim, and when the dlc did come out it was a bonus not a saviour.
So i think if any of us buy the dlc were letting them -blam!- us over, so i'm choosing not to let them slap us in the face, so i won't be buying the dlc that the game needs, and i dont think anyone else should.
EDIT: What many of you fail to understand is im not saying i didn't like destiny, because the gameplay is great. I have a level 29, 26 and a 10 and ive put a lot of time into this game. BUT half of that time i was grinding for gear that there was no reason for me to get. I beat the shit campaign in a day, there is no ranked in crucible meaning no reason for me to want to play it, its like playing halo social -blam!- that. I got to a point and you will too when you question why the -blam!- your grinding, oh just to beat a raid you've already beat on normal over 5 times, nah. The real content in this game ended in the first 2-3 days of me getting it, the rest of that time was spent grinding before i realized there was no point. Also i do want the dlc! i have the money, but if we keep letting companies think they can sell us dlc thats already on the disk that game needed in the first place then it will only get worse.
EDIT: There was a glitch in the game revealing new content already on the disk.

HAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAGHAHAHAAHHAAHHAH necrobump.

Why dont they just give us dlc for free, like a new story mission each week. It would keep the content coming and give us more info on the story

4 RespuestasEditado por BlackHawkDrunk: 10/9/2014 2:40:44 PMYou have almost 9 days played in one month. You're buying the DLC. Everyone knows that. EDIT: no one asked for DLC in Skyrim because they were too busy asking for patches to fix the 10,000 bugs the game launched with...

While I hate the DLC/ship it now patch it later attitude the games industry has adopted it's here to stay as so many buy it me being one while I only but DLC for games I really like I got the L.E of destiny which came with the expansions otherwise no I probably wouldn't have bought them the base game should have enough content to satisfy players for a month or more but Destiny's got ran through by many in a week or less is it our fault for doing so? Kinda but when we are told there will be lots of extra content etc and then there's not we have every right to feel somewhat bitter.

Man so much hate for this post. All he's saying is that we shouldn't support greedy shit business practices.

I'm not going to stick my balls in a microwave..... But I don't feel the need to make a thread about it

1 Respuesta$30? In the UK the expansion pass is £35! Near $60 if my math is correct.

No new planet and new enemys - no money from me Bungie!

1 RespuestaEditado por boom1516: 10/5/2014 9:51:44 AMnot paying 30 dollars for a dlc eh? well I'm not going to buy a jar of jam from Walmart. hmmm? what do you mean no one cares how I don't spend my money on the things that I don't like? this guy probable cares, he cares enough to say that he isn't going to buy something. we should make a forum about how all of us don't spend our money on things we don't like. edit: in case you were wondering it would have been wild berry jam that I wouldn't want to buy, but I would buy some strawberry jam.

Not so long ago games only got additional content because of their succes, now content is left out on purpose to be sold as DLC (with Destiny as one of the worst examples ever). It is an insult to all us gamers! I am not against DLC in general but developers should take an example on Bethesda and Rockstar. Prior to Destiny I would name Bungie too...

1 RespuestaIt's actually 35 and it's for 2 dlc expansions . Bet you never bought dlc huh . Game hasn't even been out a month .....already complaining bout dlc ? Go outside and get some sun , on a second note , cod , halo or any other dlc fps game you prolly spent more than 35 bucks for way less content
-
I wish I could say the same but I bought the expansion pass and redeemed it because the advertising was a bunch of bullshit and made me believe I would be getting something truly amazing. If I had known the final game was going to be the exact same thing as the beta but just in different locations, I would've never bought into Bungie's blatant lies. Now unfortunately I have to stick with this steaming pile of shit otherwise I'd be pissing away 35 dollars.

Bring lunch to work for a week... Congrats, you just saved for the expansion.

Yea but 30$ for 2 confirmed raids new strikes and story missions? That's quite the deal. Ya destiny needs work but why limit the game to its vanilla stage when it can only get better with dlc. Which is not on the disc. It's placeholders you can tell because in that same video beside the summoning pits strike is the mission for the thorn bounty lvl 26 strike. And it shows the icon, if he had the bounty it would have been glowing to go do it. So ya placeholders.

Good for you, mate
