This post is intended to Bungie.
Dear Bungie, I have been playing Destiny since launch day, I bought the Digital Guardian Edition for the future expansions and Digital Guardian items and recently something happened that has put me in a very unpleasant mood that I feel I need to bring to your attention.
I have been saving my motes of light since I started playing and decided to use all I had to buy an exotic engram today from Xur, after spending literally all I had acquired in the past few weeks I took it to the cryptarch and to my strong dismay I find to see it is not the exotic gear I had wanted and was the furthest of what I wanted. In fact it was so far from what I wanted I can not use it because the exotic piece I got was a Hunter helmet and I am running a warlock character, so after wasting all my motes of light I got a piece of gear that is unusable to my character and it greatly upsets me because it was hard work to obtain all those motes of light.
So dear Bungie the whole point of this post is that I would like a solution for my predicament, one that does not require me to work hard again for another set of motes of light or to switch to hunter class, I do not enjoy this it is very upsetting to me and to anyone who finds themselves in this position I would like a solution to this Bungie as I feel all my work is now for naught.

2 RespuestasYou don't want to make another class character in the future? I understand your frustration of course but you could save it or dismantle for parts for upgrades.

2 RespuestasYea don't like the lottery then don't play it bro. Random is random for a reason, don't pms because you can't cheat the system and get what you want every time. Not how the lottery works.

It's bullshit, yet Bungie think this system is "fun"... Fun for them, maybe. I'm not smiling when I waste 23 motes... I'm just getting frustraded, nothing else.

14 RespuestasBut you knew going in that its a random item. So you took a gamble, it didn't pay off, and now you're saying Bungie should fix it for you? I think not.

While I personally refuse to purchase engrams, I have won exotic engrams on a few occasions...one was an unusable and lower level piece of UNCOMMON armor - not Exotic or even Rare - and another was equally as useless. I am sorry Bungie but the algorithms on your Cryptarch randomizer need to be adjusted. I get what you are trying to do, Bungie, but a half-asses solution is bullshit. Either fix it or pull it.

4 RespuestasYeah, but it'll be handy for when you make a hunter! It's just unlucky, but Motes of Light, really aren't that hard to get, easier than Strange Coins.
