Game has been out for 18 days and everyone wants full epics on every class. Get over your entitlement issues, please.

I couldn't have said it better myself and clearly Bungie's listening as they're fixing engrams next week.

Editado por T00dleP1p: 9/26/2014 4:41:03 PMI fail to see the relevance of your comment. At no point in my post did i mention loot quality (level is irrespective of quality), nor that i expect to be handed things willy nilly. I simply said that strikes should be made more appealing to encourage players to participate in them, and my suggestions for doing so were to improve the rewards - no mention of epics there either. Depending upon group composition, strikes can require a fairly significant time investment. I am fine with this, however, i think the experience needs refining to make it feel more rewarding. As i see it, strikes are supposed to be the de facto means of gearing your characters upon reaching level 20. That's all well and good, but when it requires running the same strikes over and over for little or no reward, the desire to continue playing them diminishes. Perhaps you would care to share some alternatives to improve the leveling experience?
-
So you want me to play this strike over and over for no reward?
-
Note the bottom of my post, it says two weeks.
-
Are you justifying an incomplete game?
-
According to your in game time, which excludes time spend at the tower, loading, and in orbit, you have played an average of 4.3 hours per day since the game released. That's a decent amount if time to spend in an incomplete game...you must really be enjoying yourself.
-
Your sarcasm fails, and you've avoided the issue twice of repetition. Since I've put in a decent amount of time why would I not expect a change? If you notice my play time has dropped drastically lately. I barely play at all cause there's no incentive for a high level player. Are you going to use logic or do you rely on sarcasm when someone challenges you?
-
This exactly. I enjoy playing this game, but the repetition of content gets stale. Some people are content and that's fine. The fact that many players are bored with doing the same levels/strikes over and over again is not the Gamer's fault.
-
True, I just stopped in at gamestop and talked to an employee. They said people keep training it because of the staleness.
-
I answered your question indirectly using a statement about your played time. If you are able to dump over four hours a day for 18 straight days into a game and not be max level it is obviously not incomplete. In addition, have you defeated the vault of glass on high difficulty settings, because if you have not there is still plenty for you do to. Just because this game doesn't provide you with 7 hours if gameplay every single day doesn't mean it's incomplete, it means you might be spending too much of your time playing games.
-
Time to get max level can be easily inflated by many things without actually increasing the fun of the game. Longevity should not be measured by how long it takes to get to the end but how long till the game stops being fun. Now time played does not equal time enjoyed. Grinding to get to level 30 at this time is pointless and overly frustrating for a great deal of players. The loot system is punishing. Currently the loot system is only for making content that would last maybe 40 hours take 100s of hours.
-
That's not an answer and you're still avoiding the issue of strikes. I asked about doing strikes with no reward over and over. Now are you going to address it or not?
-
I already did, if you would have read my post instead of raging on he forums like a child. In the event that you don't receive randomized RNG epic rewards for doing your easy strike missions, you are able to receive a maximum of 100 vanguard marks per week. These marks in turn are used as a currency with which you are able to purchase the legendary armor you so desire. Is there anything else?
-
No one is raging here, I asked a simple question. Why do you have to insult me? That's something a child does when they are pushed beyond their thinking capabilities.
-
I'll take that response to mean I've answered all of your questions, I'm sorry your loot cave is gone and you'll have to actually play the game now. Have a great weekend!
-
Editado por DREze: 9/26/2014 3:51:11 PMI love how you make you assumptions without proof or fact. You truly are a dumbass.
-
So we're not entitled to getting better stuff for doing strikes? Your logic is flawed.
-
You get marks to buy gear. With 100 per week you can buy 3 pieces from the vanguard vendor and probably pick up the last piece you need from Zür. There you have it, a full set of legendary armor in two weeks, now stop crying.
-
The limit on Vanguard per week is a big problem in itself. If you're above 20, grinding rep for gear is the name of the game. In order for that to work well, there needs to be a continual stream of rep available. And, no, patrol missions don't qualify, since they only give you 10 points or so when you finish them. I hit the cap earlier this week and stopped playing until my week resets. My only other option would be to switch over to grinding crucible rep, but since I absolutely loath and despise the crucible I wasn't going for that option. Having nothing to do, I switched back over to Diablo III, and I've been having a ball. If Destiny is going to be a grinding/farming game, there need to be things to grind.
-
Daily bounties reward a ton of rep...between 50 and 150 a piece.
-
Ummmmm no, you can't buy three pieces from the vanguard in a week. Actually you can only afford one piece per week. It would take you 3 weeks to get it all unless you did what I did and used crucible and vanguard marks to buy gear. And this is all assuming you have a high enough rank to even spend your marks. No crying happening over here and thanks for reminding me Xur is at the tower now.
