So, yeah.
Recap:
Nerfed loot caves
Nerfed instance drop rates (following a wipe)
Nerfed queens gear.
But its not all bad, they did add...uh, well.. Wait.. Nothing?! They added nothing at all??
So, they took out somethings that a lot of people enjoyed as a past time, to fix the economy... What fūcking economy?
There is no AH, there is no trading,
Glimmer is capped at 25k... Which everyone hits at level 22, then has to constantly think up shit to buy to come down off of.
Did the engram merchant, complain about all the turn ins? Economy -It doesn't fūcking exist.
They changed these because [i]the community[/i] which apparently doesn't include anyone that liked these things complained about them.
And i understand the cave fix was coming.. We all knew that on some level sure. But, it does not resolve the larger broken loot system issue.
These changes would have meant very little to me.. If they had said.
And we fixed random loot.
No more wrong class. No more legendary engrams turning into green/blue. No more hour long strikes to get ZERO reward.
So now, we can continue to endlessly run strikes and pvp matches in hope of an upgrade.. Or grind out rep for hours/days/weeks to be able to purchase the items from the vendors at the tower
And look forward to the next round of nerfs which will include destroying some weapons so others do well.
Those who want to do their navyseal campfest maps with a scout rifle can sit back and own with their scout sniper rifles while not having to QQ about being shot in the face by a shotgun, which by then will apparently just be a flesh wound
And after that, i'm sure we can expect them to give something back right? They hinted at fixing some loot.. But gave no dates.. no specifics.. It could be weeks.
And by then, I'm pretty sure ill be over Destiny

1 RespuestaPeople don't like change that supports the majority....most all these demands made that caused changes came from raging, angry, hate-filled gamers that are used to popping a cap square in the forehead and know of nothing else to do to achieve basic accomplishments. I am so disappointed that Bungie did not stand it's ground with what it introduced and scrambled because ratings were not favorable to some degree. I am with you on all of this. I am still undecided if I should trade the game at gamestop. They already have a soft level cap anyway...so what if someone wants to sit at the cave - should we limit those who love hanging out at the crucible or those that only enjoy doing bounties? These restrictions are simply to show that they are 'listening' to the community. What community? The ones that are crying about the few areas with decent drops? Since the fix, I have not seen a single purple anywhere...I used to see them in the game itself, not just at the cave...I have received some blue engrams, but maybe about 10 - in the game -- when it used to be more. I find it frustrating that people want these restrictions imposed on everyone, yet they are happy doing what they enjoy doing and what others are doing truly has zero impact on THEIR gaming experience. People are selfish in the weirdest of ways.

1 RespuestaWait, glitter has a hard limit of 25K? Things I find out by reading forums on downtime at work. I swear! I am at 23K with something, so I guess I better put it to some use, to keeop earning them, if nothing else... And since we are on the subject, I get that each faction has it's own level and marks and what not, but come on. There should be also option to buy stuff with glitter? Sure make it more expensive, so if say I wasn a gun that csosts 60 crucible ranks, I have to pay 10K glitter or more, but at least make that an option. Not all of us play crucible all the time, if at all...

2 RespuestasI just don't get the glimmer cap of 25K. I mean why can't we bank some money for future gear/items/ammo/ content. They need to create an open world map at the tower and let people roam and explore. Have sparrow racing events or courses, make betting credits, or gear an option. I get that they don't have Auction House to prevent the farmers from coming into the game. This game is suppose to be a social game well its social as long as you have a group of 3 people. A social game would have proximity chat and an option to mute people that love to sing or be loud. Even space ship battles or something that would make use of a ship other then loading screens. I would even welcome being able to craft as in add and remove components to sparows or ships to modify. Something that actually had a crafting system or purpose to make us all play.

5 RespuestasIt's the first step in the direction of fixing their loot system. Bungie knows they need to work on it and this patch is the start. Also, from a programming standpoint, it's wise to test each little fix thoroughly before adding another change (However small). I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another fix out to the rewards within the next week or two. This is just my speculation though. If they get a better system going soon, people will not even miss the cave. By eliminating the loose ends where you can overloot yourself, they can start making the loot more meaningful. If they did it the other way around, people would just get too much epic stuff too quickly, then they would normalize it. And again, if they just did both of these at the same time, it opens up the possibilities for more bugs/exploits. So, let's see if anything happens soon... (Cautiously optimistic)

4 RespuestasBest use of your glimmer? Buy the Green Engrams when they show up on the Cryptarch's inventory. It ups your Cryptarch level which gets you to a mail package faster.

3 RespuestasThis is my question: what happens when I finally get the gear? What happens when I've got the maxed out exotic and legendaries? Do I keep playing? Loot is pointless then because nothing I'd be randomly given would be better. Should I continue playing missions just to see how spectacularly I kill things, or do I start a new guardian and do it all again? I really don't see THAT happening. I'd start another guardian to get the achievement of getting a subclass maxed, but that's it, and even then I don't think I'd follow through. When you begin to think about what your Destiny life will be like after getting the gear, it all becomes very disappointing.

exactly, i am done with this game, and am glad bungie paid for my psn+ so i could see how this game was gonna play out, i will not be paying for psn+ for these strikes/raid or pvp and am glad i held off on getting the DLC also game was fun, people where going about playing how they felt, but no thats not allowed
