Is it just me or is the chance of getting a legendary item from a legendary engram nearly impossible
I've gotten a total of 24 legendary engrams and have yet! To get a legendary item from it. It's getting old

Its just random and pure luck, I was able to get a legendary sniper from a legendary engram plus a legendary fusion rifle from a rare engram on the same day.....one of my happiest day in Destiny, next to that time when I got The Last Word from a legendary engram. So, Good Luck.

The 'CRYPTARD' has ripped me off enough to expect anything good will come from that 'Merchant of Venice'. I just buy Legendary and Exotic gear from XUR and Dead Orbit then dismantle it for the Ascendant shards and energy.

5 RespuestasI've gotten two legendaries from rare engrams :D but I read somewhere that the cryptarch lvl doesn't actually increase odds of finding legendary and decrypting them into legendary all it does is show how much you have gotten engrams and each time you lvl he gives you more engrams

It all depends on cryptarch rank I think. Like if your level 5 there is a 0.01& chance it'll happen but if your like 20 it might be higher. I am about half and half with my legendary engrams. Maybe more like 75% not 25% legendary. but it's still a decent amount

I have gotten more Legendaries from Blues than I have actually purples but I get Exotics from purples every day! I don't know what it is but I find it kind of unfair to other players with more play time and kills than me.

I get bad luck on drops but when I do hit, I hit big! Got 2 exotics today from legendary engrams just not for my class

2 RespuestasI believe the higher the level of your cryptarch reputation is the probability of getting a legendary or better item from a legendary engram Is greater. I'm not entirely positive of this though but I seem to get more legendary items from them now

I got my only exotic chest piece from a legendary engram. I guess I just got lucky in the crucible finally lol

Editado por Briq: 9/25/2014 4:29:26 AMIt's definitely much lower than getting a rare from a rare engram or getting an uncommon from an uncommon engram. From what I've seen you get an uncommon from a green engram and rare from a blue engram maybe 80-90% of the time, but when you make the jump to legendary engrams it drops to about 10%. It's kind of disappointing, I think I'd rather them just make legendary engrams more rare than to have them drop but not turn into something someone would actually want 95% of the time.

I've gotten about 8 legendary engrams in the past 2 days. I've gotten one legendary chest piece for a different class that I haven't played as yet. Other than that, just rares and uncommons.

Hmm... I would be happy to just get a legendary engram lol. But I know I will adventually get something rather it's through a drop or grind for it. Not the first time I have done this. :)
