First and Foremost, DESTINY IS AMAZING. It has REAL Esports potential, however for this game to have long time Esports success it will need a system where you can toggle the gameplay settings, I personally think that HunterClass, with pulse rifles, 4 magazine snipers, and 2 magazine rockets are the most fair and balanced classes and should have a playlist where only this class can be used, also these settings should have discipline and strength maxed out and super charge should take a lot more work to reach and players should only have double jump as far as movement is concerned. We also NEED Private lobbies where party leader puts on the settings and select the maps that the players play on. In MLG/Esports playlist, there should be a map voting or vetoing system. No titans, but maybe warlocks. Since this game has the play style of Call of Duty I feel that it is imperative that we have some key elements from Halo's MLG, this includes Weapon timing, keeping times on heavy weapon ammunition, also special ammo should be more limited, only precision weapons should be used. Pulse Rifles are very similar to the battle rifle that was the primary weapon used in Halo's MLG history. To conclude:
1-50 skilled and performance based ranking system
4v4 skirmish
-HunterClass
--Pulse Rifles
---Snipers that contain 4 shots per clip
----Rocket launchers with 2 rockets per clip
Strength and Discipline maxed out (frequent use)
-----Double Jump Movement
------Players should be able to choose what super charge, grenades, and knifing ability best suites there own play style.
-------AND NO STORY MODE OR RANK REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY THE MLG/ESPORTS PLAYLIST,
Competitive players should be able to play a balanced game type anytime and anywhere, with out having to worry about unbalanced gameplay.

Editado por Sik Maejor: 11/25/2014 8:05:45 AMI agree with everything except for only being limited to a class. Ppl pick the class that best suits them. I think that there should be limited perks for each class tho. Instead of just 4v4 skirmish y not include salvage and control all with 4v4 and revive.

Why no titans

1 RespuestaEh, as of now. PvP is a joke. There would need to be a ton of bans/nerfs for competitive play and like we all know, if we want a game to grow as an eSport, the settings have to be just like public match settings. And that can't be the case. Why? It's not competitive in any way. Primaries aren't primaries (shotguns/fusion rifles run PvP). Supers and special/heavy weapon ammo are too common. If we would change those settings, it would make it a whole different game.

3 RespuestasThis games balancing and radar is a joke.

Bungie said this was a "cooperative gaming experience" i know to be competitive you need to cooperate with teammates. But i think bungie wanted a friendly game tbh
-
13 RespuestasSaid it already but bungies vision for the game does not include esports/mlg. Bungie has proven that they COULD appease mlg and make a perfectly balanced arena shooter with set classes so it's obvious that they aren't trying to keep that audience with this game, and would rather find ways to keep the casual to hard core market hooked in the same way an mmo would as opposed to an arena shooter or moba, essentially giving up their 30 seconds of fun motto in search of a much denser experience.

1 RespuestaIt would be cool. I think E-Sports are at a crossroads right now though. Pretty soon E-Sports will be just that. This game is designed for entertainment and its success as an E-Sport will be limited I think. Its just an opinion but before long well be seeing some titles that are strictly E-Sports and other games will be entertainment only. That's my personal opinion
-
27 RespuestasNo, please. I don't think they should be putting much more into PvP than what's already there. I don't believe the private matches or this MLG direction should be taken. Destiny and its competition should stay within Destiny.

27 Respuestastoo much ban on mlg rules the regular mutiplayeris harder to play actually these guys playin in mlg are supose to be pro, imean the best why woulnt they play the hardest way??

1 RespuestaThey can figure out implementation. I only really want some sort of match making rank (mmr). I am an average to above average PVPer. But every game I play feels like either the other team is a bunch of scrubs or I am the scrub. Very few matches feel evenly matched, its usually a one sided fight. And that is not conducive to a long term view for PVP. People who are below average will always lose hardcore and thus stop playing PVP. It will scare off new PVP players and gives you no reason to play for personal improvement. Without being evenly matched my skills do not improve, I do not make an effort to learn a meta or to improve skills. also PVP bounties are the worst thing ever. You get people who have bounties to complete vs people without bounties... and you lose every time. because some dude is trying to snipe on a close quarters map or punch every opponent in the face.
