If you do the summoning pits strike on level 26, you don't get shit. You do well in the crucible, the loser at the bottom of the scoreboard seems to have a better chance at getting better rewards. Give marks for bounties as well as xp. I kinda don't see the point in doing hard strikes and tons of crucible matches, that usually screw me hard, when I can get better gear out of a low level cave. I wouldn't say I abuse it though. I mainly do it when my cryptarch is two engrams from leveling up, or when I need some weapon parts or hardonic essence. Plus, to top it off, one player using the cave doesn't affect another player. worry about yourself, and let other people play the game the way they want to.

The only issue with removing it is if they remove it they have to remove all the other insta spawns in the game, and on top of that there are tons of other farms. For example, the glimmer farm on Shrine of Oryx yields a farm thats a bit slower than the cave, but it has yellow enemies instead of normal ones. The Nexus farm when you fight all the Vex right before entering the final boss arena is just as good as the Cave. And last but not least the other battlegrounds on each planet, Cabal vs Vex, Vex vs Fallen, and the Hive vs Fallen. If they removed it they would have to either just patch it all together or find a new spawn location for these enemies since it happens to be one of the battleground arenas. All in all its not really game breaking, the drop rate is low and the cryptarch gives random crap and strange coins more than anything else (atleast for me).

I don't personally shoot the cave but hey... if that's what u wanna do and ur not hurting me... I don't mind. Now I do use other farming methods but shooting the cave for hours would drive me insane. Now the cryptarch and the loot system overall is the problem, not the cave shooters. Fix the real problem!

2 RespuestasThe cave exists because the loot system sucks. Getting rid of it won't change anything we'll just find a new area. They have to fix the loot system itself if they want most of us to stop.

Trading doesnt exist and only so much can be bought with glimmer. How is this ruining the game again?

Or make respawn times longer...if they remove all these areas doing bounties or missions may be affected. ..just make respawn times longer so ppl will have no choice but to move on and actually finish missions and patrols

I kind of agree with you. I don't think they should remove it entirely... But balance it out a little. I mean the only reason ppl are doing t is because the reward is much higher than doing PvP and strikes for the same amount of time. I don't have a problem with ppl doing it if its how they want to play. It just seems unbalanced compared to all the other content. Maybe up the time between spawns. Idk it doesn't really bother me.

Earth's loot cave is just one of many -in this case just the most well known. There are tons more and eliminating one won't change anything.

Neither for or against the [b]Loot Cave[/b]. Personal Opinion: Legendaries are meant to be Legendary where as Exotics are meant to be Exotic. Standing outside of a cave for 20+ Hours in order to get an Exotic is perfectly fine for me, because someone completing Nightfall or VoG in 2-6 hours is just the same. Just more difficult partnered with less time. Loot Cave is not game breaking, but it would not hurt my feelings if it goes. Just remember that people are going to complain either way, and that some of those complaining that it needs to go may end up complaining that it was taken away.
