Did you consider that the random rewards can be a consolation prize to players who haven't quite gotten the hang of the game, yet?
Those who do well will win games and earn crucible reputation and marks quickly and be able to buy great gear. For those who aren't so great, those random legendary drops are the best gear they're ever likely to get out of the crucible

Yes, but it sounds like the Crucible isn't for them. Its competitive right? Well as of right now, the competitive players aren't rewarded, they have a chance but bits typically the worst player who gets the good gear. So, if all the competitive players get tired of it and leave, then what is the Crucible now? If the crucible isn't for you, simply get your gear from PvE instead of ruining the Competitive players' experience.

What if they have fun playing but aren't very good? What about the people who work long hours and don't have the time to practice and get good up to par? People can enjoy playing a game and *attempting* to win or compete without being very high in skill. Everyone deserves the chance to play and have fun, and the term fun means different things to different people.

Except for your fail logic omits that players can join PvP early in the leveling process and is necessary to fill out the ques quickly. If they changed the loot system you all would be here bitchin about wait times for PvP

The que you wait in until a PvP match is started while it forms a team. If RNG loot is removed you will wait a lot longer. And I'm not interested in selfish players opinions. If they developed this game based on the ridiculous ideas people are suggesting here it would be dead in a week.

"Competitive" doesn't relate to the loot. Plus, if it were for the top players, me and my friends would be decked out in full legendary gear. It's to keep it fair.

The Crucible is balanced damage-wise, stuff like fire-rates may change the game. Iron Banner is where those amazing weapons own everyone.

I'm talking about people getting mountains of gear from PvP, while you would get comparatively less gear from PvE. Do you want to get the best gear within a week and have bugger all else to do?

If you are so skilled, then why aren't you completing bounties like clockwork and using those crucible marks to get better gear? If the people who keep saying they're "skilled" were truly as good as they say, then those random loot drops would be irrelevant, since you'd already be decked out in legendary crucible gear.

Again, it's random number generation, the game isn't giving gear exclusively to the shit players. Stop whining and get on with it, I was stuck at 24 for a long time too.
