I agree, it is the best foundation for things to come. The core mechanics and 'feel' of the game is amazing, its feels better and newer than most FPS's on the market. The one slight gripe I had was the repetitiveness of the campaign, but the new enemies are so much fun to fight it kind of softened the blow. If they inserted more 'set pieces' into the story mode, one off actions, activities and locations within each level it would be just about perfect. Cant wait to see this game evolve.
