To prepare for the fight, make sure your group has at at least 1 Arc Blade Hunter (the sticky grenade completely kills the captains' shield and does some damage. You can also use the invisibility to help assist in reviving allies). Also make sure your group has the ability to deal long range Arc and Solar damage (sniper rifles are amazing. Each person should buy at least 5-10 ammo packs before the strike starts. For the first part where you have to clear 3 waves, head off towards the side that leads to the hive. None of the spawns will pursue far over there. Take out snipers first each wave, then adds, then captains. On the beginning of the third wave, let the Fallen Wipe the Hive out while waiting in the corner. When the fighting stops, mop up the rest of the fallen. This is by far the hardest part and where most runs fail. For the Devil Walker, head to the back left corner, take out snipers, and take the tank out from a distance. Afterwards, mop up the adds. For Sepiks-Prime, head into the room to the left (with the staircase), with 2 people upstairs and one down the stairs. (the room is too small for 3 people and you might stumble over eachother if a grenade comes in, so leave 1 downstairs in case revives are needed). Kill adds as the spawn and take out sepiks. Also, be aware that some spawns start to appear dowstairs around when he is at 50% hp. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I really appreciate all the help you guys are giving me!

Patience, voice chat, and a clear and concise plan on how to fight, where to fight, and how to revive without losing everyone in the process
-
Voice chat isn't needed if you preplan what emotes mean. For instance, when I group I dance when adds spawn to let the group know.

Is this the lvl 24 one? Or lvl 26? Or are there any other levels?
-
There is a tougher one, lvl 28
-
Any tips for getting to lvl 26? Does the lvl 26 strike playlist net you better gear to get your light level up? So far my friends and I are stuck at 24, can't get any higher.
-
Just need to keep doing 24s and farm and get lucky with drops and buy legendaries and exotics, or simply patrol/farm
-
Alrighty, thanks for the assist. I will just plan on doing what I'm doing. I'm pretty sure eventually I'll have enough.

Grab a good arc weapon and some ammo packs for it just in case, the damage bonus from arc burn is large enough to offset 40 attack on a weapon (rough estimate) and take your time. I completed it alone in an hour and a half because of an arc sniper I had.
-
Does arc really make that much of a difference? How do you know your element is more effective?
-
According to an article that had info on an interview with someone from Bungie, Arc Burn does 300% more damage. I was doing ~3600 to Sepiks Prime on a crit and I believe ~6400 to the Devil Walker's legs and core with "Patience and Time" (exotic sniper, 260 attack and ~1/4 of an impact stat bar)
-
Do we know why it does so much against them? Is it because of the color shields they have or the type of enemy they are? This is what I've been trying to figure out

Never mind, here Elemental Damage
-
Just checked again, probably closer to 1/5 on the impact, lol (my hope was 1/4 xD)

-
Warlocks don't have an arc subclass. They're probably the worst for it.
-
Do people even click links these days....?
-
Where's the link to a warlock with an arc subclass?
-
I didn't say Warlocks have an Arc-based subclass (?) I was talking about the link 3 lines up where a warlock (probably the worst for it) soloed the nightfall. If you really must ask, Warlocks do have a Solar-based subclass that is extremely helpful for removing shields from Wizards and Shanks as well as keeping DOT on un-shielded and shield-broken enemies.
-
Any class can solo the nightfall, warlocks are just probably the worst class for it.

Editado por Seldser: 9/15/2014 6:15:18 PMwell that's one step done!

I was Titan, had two hunters. You gotta play it soooo careful. And ARC! All the arc!
