As somebody that played WoW from day one, I can always see people's impatience at games.
Destiny is amazing, it's the first game in a long time to bring me back to console. That's not to say it is without it's flaws but the problem with console players (coming from the mind frame of a PC player) is that they forget that games like this can and WILL be updated. Take WoW for example, it's a completely different game now to what it was over 9 years ago. Constant gradual updates has improved it into the behemoth it is now. And the same will apply with Destiny. They've released the base (which is immense) and will build upon that.
The only thing that is slightly annoying me is the non-matchmaking system for Raids. I personally don't have 5 other mates on 360 anymore (everyone has upgraded to next gen) but I'm moving to another country in December and therefore haven't bothered buying next gen. Without the ability to do Raids this game won't last me the 3 months I was hoping it will do.
So if anyone is playing on 360 (I'm from England so GMT+0) with a level 24 Warlock hit me up GT: King88Martyn

I agree with you completely. Hopefully most of the complainers will move on to the next "big thing" and then all of us who are really planning to get deep into this game will remain when the getting really gets good.

gamers pay money for a complete game not the promise of updates and expansions that are overpriced. Nowhere on the game case does it say repetitive content but further content will be available.

The average player is getting 5x more playability on this this than most other games at the same price. It's Halo plus Borderlands in terms of length, with a dash of Mass Effect for the depth. I.e. this is a *very* complete game. Its replay value is on the order of Elder Scrolls or GTA.

It is a complete game. People moaning about the story not being hours and hours long, I'm sorry but how is the CoD story any more impressive? The game has a lot more depth and character development than CoD does and considerably more PvE content than CoD does but people don't moan about CoD. One of the problems is the game was over-hyped. But that wasn't Bungie's fault, that was fans getting over excited. And the only people to blame are the people that believe all the hype. I made my own assumptions and expectations about Destiny from playing the Beta and my own research and as of yet have not been disappointed by anything.

I'll raid with you.

Awesome. Add me on live. I'm on every evening and all weekends at the moment.

Will you be able to do the heroic strike for this week also?
-
Yeah, been waiting for people to do it with. I tried to solo it, but didn't have an Arc damage Fusion Rifle to make it doable -.- mine is Solar.

I added you, :)
