I used my super, hit the titan, then titan proceeded to use FoH, I actually hit him in the air, still got killed lol nothing is OP.

28 RespuestasThe people that say stuff is OP just don't know how to counter it.

This one hunter missed me with 3 or 4 slashes before getting me from a fair distance with the 5th try. It is ridiculous. It gives you a massive health buff, and you can swing and mess up as much as you want and still have enough time to get kills. At least with Golden gun you have a maximum of 3 shots. Whereas the only offensive supers the other two classes get are one try only deals, that require enemies to group together like morons; Which is very rare when playing against semi-competent people.
-
Lol at everyone not knowing what the -blam!- their talking about. Most of the Hunter's abilities can't be used all at once, you can't crouch to go invisible and get health from each strike at the same time. It's one or the other. Blinkstrike only does additional damage when attacking from behind.

Editado por AustinSj: 9/15/2014 10:04:46 AMNothing is OP, everything has a counter. Yes you may not like being killed by them but that dosent mean they're OP.

One of my favorite moments in Crucible happened earlier tonight. I'm a Bladedancer myself so I know how deadly they are when you see that glowing blue aura rushing at you. There was some considerable distance between the hunter and I so I was able to see him charge his Arc Blade. I ran backwards, pulled out my shotgun and blasted him in the face then used Blink Strike to close the gap and kill him before he dashed at me. Made me feel like a badass especially given that there were two other Guardians close behind me and that Hunter would have gotten at least a triple kill. I love shutting someone down immediately after they use/waste their Super.

Two words...Hungering Blade.

6 RespuestasI don't think it's "over powered" but in the eyes of a Defender, we feel very lack-luster when it comes to the Crucible. I see Bladedancers using their super, killing 3+ people in seconds, then pull out a shotgun and take out another 2 guys. I, as a Defender can summon a shield that can be helpful for maybe 3 seconds, but once someone charges you the shield does nothing. Yeah it can be helpful in control, but outside of that, nothing. I think it would be beneficial for Defenders if the ward would ricochet bullets. So in the eyes of a Defender, everything, and anything can be overpowering.
-
You're right, everything is so OP that nothing is OP.
-
6 Respuestasas someone who uses the hunter i prefer to come up against other hunters in PvP. (and as someone who used all the characters in the beta i prefered the warlock for PVP). but i dont want any nerfs. everyones just jealous cause the hunter looks the best.
-
5 RespuestasBladedancing has caused excessive camping. Annoying hunters kneeling in a corner invis waiting to blink strike or shotgun... damage reduction with arc blade which can be used longer than any other super ability as they are being healed on each strike chaining a 6 man kill... and people call Titan OP lol
-
5 RespuestasI think its funny when people bitch about hunters.. like.. seriously.. Whorelocks and titans are the OP ones.. blade dancer.. we dotn get any speed buff.. we dont get a shield.. we get nothing.. but our slash and whatever you use as a secondery attack.. I hit a titan in the corner 3 times, he ground slammed and i died out of my ult and he was fine.. and when you ask people "Then what should they nerf on the hunter?" they cant think of anything.. because we are already nerfed to -blam!-... no armor.. no recovery...

3 RespuestasThat's a magical thing called *lag*. It's happened to me a couple of times with my Nova Bomb. I unloaded a whole 8 round clip into a bladedancer's chest and head and barely took his shield down, so I'm pretty sure there's some sort of damage reduction. That could also be attributed to lag though. I personally think it's balanced. There's a counter to everything.
-
5 RespuestasEvery single thing in this game is balanced, though not PERFECTLY, if people have the common sense to observe and learn from their mistakes. I rage all the time, but when I get level headed I reflect, and I realize I'm a -blam!-ing idiot and should NOT have walked through the door while my radar was covered in red after the Heavy Ammo indicator disappeared.
-
I use bladedancer and I believe it's one of the harder supers to use and I always die against other supers because it takes two hits to kill someone in animation. I would say the Golden Gun is the easiest to get multiple kills. Anyone halfway decent should get multikills all the time. I think for the most part though the game is pretty balanced.

1 RespuestaSame here. I've hit a Titan TWICE with arc blades and he's FoH'd me and everyone around me. I've also been killed by the FoH even though I was about 30 feet in the air above him. Great game, bungie, the balance is oh so fantastic...
-
Titans can't win gun fights. Super this super that. Lololol
-
i just started to use my bladedancer perk and love it when in a cqc match but i still can get wrecked when someone has a high rate of fire auto rifle... or if a person manages to get a round off as soon as i hit him we both ko or he gets lucky and live
-
It's not OP its just that there is a shit tone of Hunters on PvP using it.
-
That's happened to me. A couple times now, I'll be in super hit a Titan in the back, he'll turn around and super me, then die right when I die.
-
when your greatest counter is a shotgun wielding anyone the blade dancer suddenly seems less op... and the crucible is filled with shotgun wielding jimmy rustling asses .-.
-
Titans have a harder to kill in FoH ability that's why you lost but it usually get replaced around 20
-
Its not op. Ive melee killed a bladedancer
-
1 RespuestaBlade-dancing all the way!
-
8 RespuestasTitan's melee is OP, it's not even super and it always one-hits.
-
3 Respuestaspeople love to whine about hunters period. Meanwhile they're rolling with supers with obscene splash and near invulnerability while they activate it. Titans and warlock players calling for a nerf to hunters.....so expected.
-
10 RespuestasWas playing salvage and blade dancer would run in, eat some shotguns, and leisurely kill entire team stationed around the room. If the only counter for that is to save your super in reserve until a blade dancer shows up...That is pretty dam op
