So Destiny is an MMO so we can expect patch content right? But, where is the extra cash coming from to keep updating the game? There are no extra charges like a normal free to play mmo and theres no sub fee. So where is this revenue for updating the game coming from? I have a feeling you're not going to be updating the game much for free and are going to milk us for x packs. This is a pretty big concern of mine if Im going to invest my time I don't wanna be milked for my money.

Editado por Xen0christ: 9/14/2014 4:20:09 AMThe 500 mil budget was for the whole franchise supposedly. But yeah, I also feel this way.

Probably from the 500 million they made and the expansion packs right?

Editado por Big Poobah: 9/14/2014 1:08:49 AMI posted something like this, i agree, i hope we dont have to spend tons of money on destiny just to get the full experience, i wouldnt mind spending a little money though. But im sure bungie is just gonna hook it up with that nice easy going ride, and not bleed us out, because its not a secret that bungie loves their community.

Do you realize who made this game? Bungie, who created an insanely successful franchise, and Activision who makes tons of money putting the same game out every year...(I'm not a fan of COD) plus with Dlc at $20 a piece, and the game making tons of money on just pre orders, I don't think they're too worried about cost at this point.

3 RespuestasTwo things: 1) The game was profitable for Activision on Day One, so there will be plenty of budget. 2) Milked for your money? I think I've gotten way more than the average $60 game here. The patches will be free, but new content will be x packs that I'm happy to buy.
