My original plan was for my dad to take me to GameStop after school Tuesday to pick it up. But instead he said he is going to take me to the midnight launch.
So I'm wondering if there are others who are getting their parents to take them to GameStop for the midnight launch.
Edit: I'm 15 and I don't have my license yet

I'm 26 and my parents think video games are Satan incarnate...so treasure these moments. God knows I'm certainly going to be involved in video games with my kids, assuming they're interested in them. My fiancé and I play Mario Kart and Rock Band together every week...and I look forward to the times that we have kids and can have family game nights.

1 RespuestaAwesome dad you got there, remember these times when your in college and think your making all the right decisions (pro tip- your not) and he is trying to tell you your making the wrong decisions.

1 RespuestaI'll never forget when my mom woke up at 4am to go wait in front of EBgames with me for the Wii pre-orders. I still was 5th in line but I would have never gotten my system at launch otherwise
-
I'm in charge of myself. And myself is taking me to the midnight launch.

Editado por DylanNorth: 9/8/2014 4:11:54 PMYou won't be the only one. Taking your dad to the midnight launch of a game when your 15? That's ok. Taking your dad to your first day of college when you're 18? Not ok.

2 RespuestasI did 3 midnight with my mom before I turned 17. (Had license, but all the games were rated 'M')
-
Must be a cool ass dad. Be grateful!

Would be funny if he went to the counter before you and picked up his Ghost Edition with the Destiny bundle.

1 RespuestaDon't listen to the haters OP. It sounds like your dad is taking the time to do something with you that is important to you. As a dad myself, that sounds like a win. I hope to take my son to a midnight release when he is old enough (and if it is something he is interested in at that time). Enjoy your time with your dad and enjoy the midnight release!
