Sushi is the rice, doesn't even need to be fish, you can have vegetable sushi. Sashimi may be the one you're thinking of, sliced raw fish, delicious. I like both, but my nearest decent sushi place isn't close enough. Source: soy. 🐟🐠🐡🐙

That is true! Most people think of sushi as rolls unfortunately :/ and alot of rolls have cooked fish, crab, or lobster in them.

I want spicy tuna now... or mebee some salmon. I love the taste and texture of fresh salmon in sushi.

Salmon is delicious! I'm more of a blue fun tuna fan since it literally melts in your mouth with every bite :) the place I go has a platter ( boat ) for 50$ that has 25 sushi pieces, and 25 roll pieces. It's a steal of a deal.

not sure if you live near a Kroger, but they sale everything to make ur own sushi.

I could almost throw a stone and hit three krogers lol one a mile away, another a mile from that and one more 3 miles away, but I have only seen sushi prepared there not what I need to make it. Namely the mat, everywhere sells the proper seaweed and rice. but that mat is like a ninja, must be hiding everywhere I go.

The kroger near me sells the mat, Was checking it all out oneday while picking up some sushi for a quick lunch.
