Yes casuals like to play with family but most people who are gamers play with friends who have there own console or pc. It is 2014 almost 2015. Back then most people didn't have a console so split screen was big. Now most people have a console and there is no need not for this type of game or any game that's online. Back then 95% of games was all single player games with split screen or I mean was a game that was offline and just a story. But times change pretty much everything is online. But people who want split screen is like 10% of gamers.

The poll says 65% of people want it, so that point is invalid. I can only assume you lied about other points too.
