As the release date for my most anticipated game in the near future approaches (which happens to release the same day as my mother's birthday) i was wondering if it would be better to get a digital copy in the xbox marketplace (xbox one) or stay with my hard copy pre-order from Gamestop, i wont be able to play at midnight because of school so the pre-loading feature doesn't give me any advantages and most of my games are hard copies, but digital games are cool and im starting to see the benefits. So what do you guys think? Thanks :) (btw im 15 years old)
Edit: I think i'll stay with the hard copy from gamestop, but perhaps in the future when the price drops i'll buy it digitally so it'll stay in my account, anyways, thanks for commenting and well, just 6 more days!!! :D

I'll always go for the physical copy. It may be tradition or what not since back when I first got my SNES. Once everything goes digital for good I'll be one sad panda.
-
Digital only because its online only game. Hard copy wouldn't do you any good once Bungie decides to take the servers down
-
Physical copy.
-
Digital
-
Digital for sure, with PS4 does not matter u install the games on HDD regardless disc or digital Plus no tax on PSN!

I would go with the hard copy. Your account could be hacked and you could possibly lose everything. It happened to a friend of mine. Plus I think it'd feel awesome to rip the plastic wrapping off the case like you're opening a Christmas present

hard copy, LIMITED EDITION BABY!!!

I'm actually worried for people digitally downloading the game, after basically breaking PSN with the beta, I don't think the servers will be able to withstand that many people trying to download the game, even with pre-load.

3 RespuestasWhy not both? who cares about money. That green paper comes and goes. Just pretend that you have to pay a big water bill.

Hard but I'm only getting just the game

1 RespuestaIf my retailer sends a dispatch email on Friday/Saturday this week then we're golden. If not then I'll be preloading the digital version ready for 12amBST, and sending back my hard copy. Best of both worlds... Except digital costs more :(

hard copy. usually game stores over here like to post big releases early so that everyone gets them on time, so you could get it on a monday and have a whole extra day before release, whereas digital copies have to wait until midnight in your timezone before they get unlocked.

5 RespuestasDigital! I have a 2 year-old daughter who would love nothing more than to take my physical disk outside and play frisbee with it. With digital, I don't have to worry about that! _Ohuigin

For me it's a disc copy. I know it sounds a bit silly but I do enjoy having a disc. I don't call myself a die-hard collector but there are a few hard copies that I'm proud of. For example I still have my original Xbox version of Halo that I bought right after launch. Still have my gold cartridge Zelda for the NES, etc. Not a big deal for most but I think it's pretty cool.

Hard copy ! My connection is so bad.

I usually go with a physical copy unless I'm feeling lazy, but in the case of this games special editions being limited (physical copies) I'd go digital. They can't run out of digital copies, and you'll probably be able to buy the digital guardian edition even after it launches.
-
If you're on Xbox One and you pre-order on the MS store (until Sept 5th) you also get a $10 MS digital gift card. Just thought id throw that out there.
-
Hard copy, I don't like digital games really.
-
13 RespuestasHow about when Destiny 2,3 and 4 come out you'll have 4 discs to shuffle as you move your Guardians backwards and forwards through the games. Digital you won't. I like my corner I'm going I'm going!

Hard copy. I'm not ready to go all digital, just yet.

Editado por J4ck0fAll_Game5: 9/2/2014 3:44:51 PMThe nice thing about hardcopy is that installing the game from a disc doesn't take as long as downloading (however preloading kinda solves this). But I like having that physical box. Plus I got the ghost edition so all that stuff too. And if you get tired of game you can sell.

Hard copy. Can't trade in digital if get bored or don't like it.
