It happens but I think Atticus forgot too.
-
I had a busy day yesterday and thought since Stormwolf commented he'd take over.
-
I understand.
-
Nonetheless...
You find a small glade. Before your eyes there is a hastily abandoned campsite, even the embers of the poorly constructed campfire are still glowing red hotness. Rugged pieces of dirty clothes hanging at tree branches indicate where the builder went.
-
Wonders if they knew I was coming, I head towards the campsite, to search around.
-
It's poorly made up; there is no protection against weather and the grass is weighed down where the criminal slept - the only thing that somehow makes it look like a camp is the fire.
-
Checks the ground for trampled masses of grass. Maybe I can track him down...
-
You follow trampled grass and broken sticks and sight a guise trying to make its way through the thicket.
-
Keeps my fingers on the end of my Scythe, trying to get the element of surprise on him.
-
So you want to attack him with scythe, or am I wrong? It'd be nice if I knew your intent.
-
I'll knock him unconscious with the blunt end of my Scythe to teach the little bugger.
-
You successfully knock the person down after you snuck up to him. He now lies face first on the ground.
-
Grins after looking at my work, I quickly attempt to search his body before taking him back to the town.
-
He has nothing with him except his ragged clothes and a few flints.
-
Curses my luck and continues heading back the way I came, dragging my unconscious friend with me.
-
It took quite some time finding your ticket into the city as the sky became orange from the warm light of the evening sun You arrive at the stockade with your friend.
-
Hands him over to the guard and attempts to go inside the city, preferably to find a place to rest and train.
-
"Hey, What do you think you're doing?", the guard says while reaching for your arm "Do you think you are allowed enter the city after bringing me some random guy?"
-
Does a mental facepalm. I forgot to check the face.... Ahem.. That is not the criminal?
-
"Well tough luck for you", the guard says in a grumpy voice "This is exactly the guy we were searching for!" He lightens up and breaks out in laughter as he saw the baffled expression on your face: "You should see yourself na-ha-haow! You really didn't check his face?", he continues laughing "You are a funny guy. Go get in before this gets awkward!" As you enter the city you still hear him: "This is the second time this month I got someone with this! Bwahaha!"
-
Pulls my hood over my head in shame, admitting it was pretty funny, I wander the streets in search of a Blacksmith, changing my mind on the resting.
I actually got scared.
-
I am sorry that I am not replying consistently. I'll let you know when I can't reply for a longer period of time (e.g. when I am on vacation) so you don't have to worry when there's no reply for one or two days.
You hear the loud clanking of hammer and steel from afar, so you follow the sound, getting past several houses, ones made of wood and the others made out of stone, until you reach the workplace of the blacksmith. You see him hammering on hot steel at the anvil at his sheltered workplace outdoors. There are several shimmering exemplary weapons hanging on the stone wall next to his shop's entrance which should show the skill of his work.
-
Thank you for telling me and keeping me informed for the future.
My eyes sparkle at the sight of such weapons, I jump straight into the blacksmiths forge and asks for one of his mightiest swords, instead of gold I ask to do a quest for him. (Hopefully no boot)
-

(Hopefully no boot)
That's decided by RNG.
He glances off his work to you. "And what sort of quest should I have for you?", he says "I am a blacksmith - do you want me to say that you should hunt down the Wyrm of Naxxramas so I can make a magical sword out of its icey teeth?!" He pinches himself between his eyes in frustration and then says: "Listen, if you can get me the materials I can make you a sword and give you some discount - how's that?"
-
Rubs my chin in agreement and nods. I'll do it! Maybe even get that Wyrm tooth for you too.
