I'd like to know as well..
What happened to them?
Did they go back to Earth and party before the Fallen came to blow up everything?
What was their mission?
I think a moment of honor is due for these three on release.

you know what i find odd about the intro movie including these three? the whole fact that one of them brought an assault rifle when exploring mars. it seemed like he didn't have a legitimate reason for bringing it if the mission was just for exploration, which is what it appears to be. at least for me that is

All of them brought assault rifles and of course they took them because they discovered the Traveler but didn't know what to expect

in the trailer it says-they were expecting a hostile enemy....from sattelite imagery on mars,but after they got to the traveler they understood that it was giving life around it

well like i said, it looked like an exploration thing to me, so i didn't think they would deem it necessary to bring weapons, as when we see something weird or odd on the moon or something we don't send our guys with a bunch of guns. we usually assume its just some shadows or technology glitch. i guess when you see a moon-sized object hovering over a planet though, it makes sense why they came prepared.
