I am a Halo player that switched to PS4. It is enticing to pick up a Xbone just for MCC, but Destiny is the new Halo. Destiny is Bungie and Halo 5 is not and neither are the new reimagined maps. Halo might dent Destiny but I have always felt like Destiny could kill Halo and the Xbone with it.

How will Destiny kill the xbox one? It's releasing on it as well.

Its [b]possible[/b] that so many Halo players will switch to Destiny and in my opinion Halo is the only reason to get an Xbone. I would bet that if Halo was also on PS4 you could tack on a couple more million to units of PS4's sold. So if Halo looses a good portion of its audience to Destiny (its possible), it could be a crushing blow to the X1.

Actually Minecraft, at this moment, is ruling the market with approximately 54 Million being sold. Halo in it's collective games have only sold approximately 52 Million copies. That's 52 million copies across ALL their games. Minecraft is just one game and hasn't been around as long.

I was making a point that Halo doesn't sell as much as people think it does especially since it's only on one platform. In otherwords Halo won't destroy Destiny and is not one of the best selling games. Destiny will most likely outsell Halo for a long time to come. Try reading between the lines and using your own knowledge of literature to realise what people are talking about.
