Just to clarify
What exactly is the benefits/cons about doing either the digital copy or getting a hard copy from like Gamestop?
If you get the digital copy and you get to download it early will you have access to the servers still at midnight? From what Ive been reading its been made out to be that people who get a disc copy can play when their time zone is midnight but for digital copy users you will have to wait until midnight PDT time. Is this true? What does everyone else thing is the best option.
Cause it would be nice to pre install early so that way when it hits midnight you are good to go. Not to mention getting to avoid the lines at Gamestop.
In the link from the sony store it says play at midnight PST. Now if you get the hard copy does that mean that I could actually play earlier since im two hours ahead of PST?

I'm going digital for the preload, mitigation of late delivery risk and the (admittedly minor) benefit of lighter load on the disc motor every time I load up Destiny. Which will be a lot. I never trade/sell, so...

1 RespuestaThe only reason I'm not going digital is because of my horrible experience trying to Download Titanfall. It took 3 days and 5 times restarting the download to finish. I can't risk this happening with destiny. That being said they apparently have the pre-download thing for destiny.

I purchased the $100 physical edition because I wanted all the little thingamabobs and the expansion pass. I'm just going to install the game onto my HDD and put the game case on display somewhere.

3 RespuestasI believe it takes more space on the HDD as a digital copy then it would as a disc. I haven't looked into that fact so don't quote me on it.
