Destiny 360 vs One.
I will eventually own an Xbox One. Ps4 isn't even an option. The only reason I haven't purchased the XboxOne yet is because there haven't been any games that really made me feel like I HAD to play them. (Titanfall didn't impress me) With Destiny right around the corner along with the new Madden, I think now is the time to buy. I was going to wait until right before the Halo MCC came out but decided against it. I know a lot of people played Destiny on both xbox platforms and I was wondering how big of a difference they personally noticed and once immersed in the gameplay were those differences still very noticeable? Thanks.

There was a gigantic difference between the ps3 and ps4, I imagine there is going to be a similar difference between the 360 and xbone on the 9th

5 RespuestasThe graphical difference wasn't as big as people made it out to be. Draw distance was different, I'm sure (though I didn't notice), but the game looked great on both systems. The only problem I had with the 360 version was the occasional few second load between game areas (eg, moving from one area of New Russia to another) and the occasional gameplay performance hiccup, which is quite possibly something that will be remedied before the final release.

A lot of people say noticeable difference but honestly I've seen them both and I couldn't tell you. Most big box places have a decent return policy so I say buy it then try it. I wish I had waited because so far, the only difference I've seen is a few seconds off load times. I knew beforehand that the current "next gen" consoles would be very similar to their predecessors but I didn't realize how close it would actually be. Don't waist the money.... Yet. You're not missing much

2 RespuestasI played on the one and 360 and the game plays exactly the same in my opinion. What makes the difference is the resolution. The one is sharp and detailed. After playing on the one and going to the 360 it was like playing with blurred vision.

3 RespuestasI had the beta for both 360 and One so I might be your best bet with this info. The difference is quite a lot honestly so I'll list what I noticed as improvements. The load times between sections were non-existent on the One whereas on the 360 there was often (but not always) a 5-10 second load when going from one named area to another (specifically from The Divide to the Rocketyard). The obvious graphical improvement was apparent and the draw distance was significantly larger. I usually don't bother to list graphics as a deciding factor in games that I enjoy, but they were noticeably better in terms of shading and textures so if you like pretty stuff then it was a vast improvement. The main problem I had with the 360 version though was in PvP, where it relied on a host system instead of a portion of the XO's dedicated server infrastructure. The PvE elements all worked fine and played well, but in PvP after playing on the One's dedicated servers, I couldn't handle the amount of connection difficulties I faced in almost every match and gave up back to the One after a few games. In short; the One's a much better choice for gaming and for the future of Xbox games in general, and not that the 360's Destiny version is unplayable, but the next generation is a significant jump in performance and is noticeable in-game, even during the missions and strikes.

As for your question, I went from PS3 to Xbox One and the only really noticeable thing is graphics. The graphics are more sharp and have a lot more detail then the previous gen consoles. You may as well purchase the Xbox One now, because by the time MCC comes out it will still cost the same amount for the console.

Get what you want and feel comfortable with. I've stuck it out with Xbox since Halo:CE and haven't owned a PS since #2... So yeah I wouldn't know what it's like in anyway to play on a statistically better plastic entertainment box... I play on my average joe big entertainment box... Gets the job done, has my friends, and has my favorite games...

2 RespuestasUpgrade man. I didn't want to further invest in the old technology. Like others have noted, you don't want to buy Destiny and all the DLC a 2nd time later on. Check the link for a nice side-by-side comparison between the two consoles running the Destiny beta. You can really see a difference when the first tree passes from the Xbox 360 side to the Xbox One side. All you PS4 commenters must really feel the need to promote your platform. I wonder if it's because you don't have enough people to play with on PSN...

But anyway here's my answer: I only played on the Xbox One so I did see it had very crisp graphics and I've heard it was better on the Xbox One then the Xbox 360. Enjoy playing Destiny either way!

2 RespuestasPS4 isn't even an option = Fanboy. I have both, and each one has its advantages. PS4 runs every non exclusive title I have played smoother and at a higher resolution. BF4, CoD, Tomb Raider.... Xbox One has better party chat, and slightly more stable network(probably from not have 10million players). PS Plus is WAY better than XBL Gold, in every way. PlayStation 4 has so many games out right now(Indies mostly) you cannot keep track of them. Xbox know its currently loosing the console war so expect big deals for NEW buyers(like all the $400 Kinect less bundles coming out). No real love for those that bought in early though.

Granted it was just the Beta but I could tell a noticeable difference between the two. The graphics just seemed crisper and cleaner. Not that big of a difference but it was there. Played the beta on all four platforms and tbh, it was absolute shite on Ps3 and 360, go for the one it is alot better.

I played on both and I enjoyed playing on the one a lot more. It's a bigger difference than you would expect. One exceeds graphically by far imo

1 RespuestaI don't know about the full game but I played the beta on both 360 and One and the One was visibly better. The 360 was a lot more blurry and kind of fuzzy. If you don't care about graphics then there's not much different but after playing the One I couldn't go back to the 360.
