So you would rather the game not look as good, just to have 60fps? If it is locked at 30 or a little better for everyone, how does that make it less competive? Is it purely because you prefer 60 over 30? The higher the fps, the more difficult it becomes to maintain the detail on each character. More customizable, and less just the same painted characters, taxes even the current Gen consoles. Video game technology isn't infinite. Bungie is giving us solid and yet beautiful game they can. But unless you are just one of the many trolls on this site, why call out fanboys? I'm not blind, but I do support Bungie. Hence me being apart of their community. Don't buy it if 30 fps is a deal breaker. Or if you think you are toward the top with the other "elite" fps players, then buy it, adapt to 30 and kick some ass.

Last gen can't support 60 and maintain the graphics. Current gen can. Log 30+ days on a game with 60fps, then go to one with 30. You will notice a big difference

Yes, I get that. But the longer you play at 30 fps, your brain will adapt to it. How many hrs of the beta did you play? I noticed it when I first started playing Destiny, but my brain adapted and it got use to it. And that could be due to the fact I've been playing games for so long that I can handle the differences. I guess if it makes it unplayable for you, I can accept that. But it is going to remain at 30 for awhile. So if you can't adapt, might as well get over it. And then just don't buy the game, and don't follow this site. Because negativity toward the game will only bring people down. And this community is wiling to accept 30.

I have to say I am a little bit disappointed in the "lower than cod" fps, I've been playing first person shooters for a long time, halo was a game that fit 30 fps very well in part because there were no ads mechanics. Destiny has changed all that, I have to admit my beta was on 360 which has terrible frame lag but the 30FPS with the ADS made for some serious wtf moments in some 1 on 1 gun fight situations. Got the ps4 bundle on pre order so we'll see how next gen treats me.

Yeah I play on xboxone its just fine, and pretty easy to get used to. The next gen consoles work the game amazingly well for such a big one. Better get that ps4 soon.

Halo Reach was only 30 right? I guess I've always been a precision weapons guy. So maybe its because my brain already got used to ads at 30. Hmm, ty for your reply. :) And I hope you can enjoy some parts of the game. Deej said that Bungie was aware and ok with the fact not everyone would be able to do the raid, if unwilling to group themselves, during a gamescom I interview. In my honest opinion, I think There is a good chance that Destiny 2 and the rest of the expansions and sequels will be confined to PS4 and XB1. Enough last Gen folks will get addicted and since you can transfer your toon, if Destiny 2 launches on next Gen only, they will all upgrade. At least the truly addicted will.
