Destiny Is Racist?!
This video is of Giancarlo Esposito- the only black guy in the whole entirety of Destiny. Except hes not even in the game!
Why not? His voice is awesome, almost on level with Morgan Freeman. You also may recognize him from Breaking Bad.
He wouldve made a better Ghost than the white midget Peter Dinklage, and an EXTREMELY better pvp announcer than the anonymous and annoying British voiceactor.
But enough about him.
There are many other reasons that point to Bungie being racist!
- The whole "white is good, darkness is evil" theme - youre literally an organization formed to suppress and publicly exterminate any dark beings! (KKK?)
- Though youve never met The Darkness, you are brought up to believe it is evil and doesnt deserve to live or coexist with those who bear the light (light-skinned people)
- The Traveler is represented as good, wise, powerful, intelligent, advanced, and most of all white, and placed on a pedestal above all else (literally and figuratively)
- The Fallen represent dark tribal culture and are shown as savages praying to bones and human sacrifices, hunted down and shot on sight
- Everyone in the Tower (NPC) is white or robot
- Your Ghost is white, and makes you his slave against your will, even stopping you from dying, and forcing you to suffer and fight the Darkness
- The only playable location on Earth is Russia, a notoriously anti-gay and racist country (How much did Putin pay you Bungie?)
- Default Guardians are always white
- Elite Guardians are always clothed in white, or gold and white, usually honoring a white tree with black ornaments hanging from its branches (another KKK symbol?)
- Where are the Asians????
- This Bungie.net post by user TheSeminerd highlights a few more key points and details the mistreatment and racial harassment he encountered while in the Tower as a black skinned Guardian - http://static01.bungie.net/en-us/Forum/Post/66770114/0/0

2 RespuestasU know Africans started slavery in their country. Tribes would attack other tribes and take them as slaves, then Americans came bought slaves from some tribes then they just started doing what the tribes did and take the slaves
-
You're an idiot It took me two seconds to correct you. Go on Google and look up the actors on the first page there's at least three black actors you didn't even mention. And seriously you really are just digging to find problems with this game where there are none. And if this is a joke then it's a -blam!-ing stupid one and is, no doubt, pretty -blam!-ing offensive to a lot of people.
-
Are people really giving these -blam!- trolls attention? They put these post up to get a rise out of morons not capable of realizing that there leg has been pulled.
-
Lolololololol
-
Banish the troll!!!!
-
M-Must Not F-F-Feed!
-
Do not feed this troll

You are an idiot the vanguard Mentor is voiced by a black male actor (fringe FBI head guy) and the warlock Mentor is a black female dont know who voice actor is , but bet she might be black.
-
A Funny man! At least I hope you were being funny... Yeah dark v light always brings up this issue look at LOTR! That's about as racest a you get. But we except it because it's amazing and created by a British white guy.
-
So, do you guys think Im a fag?

Yep
-
1 RespuestaYou people go waaay to far for these conspiracy theories these days. Who gives a -blam!- just play the game.
-
Morgan Freeman said it best. "The best way to stop racism is to stop talking about it. I'm not a black man and you're not a white man. We are both just men." Not a word for word quote. If you want it word for word just YouTube "Morgan Freeman on racism". I think its how Morgan Freeman didn't want a black history month.

1 RespuestaI understand what you are saying but Lance Reddick is actually a voice actor in this game. You might better know him as Agent Broils in the Series Fringe. Gina Torres is also a person of color in this game that does voice acting, and if I remember correctly she was black in the game. Though I agree that the game is lacking in other races than white, you have to admit that in the trailers of the main guardian that is shown is a black one. case and point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIxxsw7TNd4 The world is filled with stuff that we don't like or see as unfair. Remember though that it is how you choose to go about it that makes a difference my friend. Move with love and Joy Peace
-
Even though this is a troll, i have to admit, there is a lack of colored npcs, and there should be more face builds/skin tones to support more minorities.

1 RespuestaDid anyone else go and read the other forum? I'm laughing so hard right now, he said people would stop and point or dance at me! Like wtf are you serious that's what everyone does in the tower it's a dance party
-
2 RespuestasThey sure are

That's weird because I kept getting black characters as the default. I feel like they somehow know about my impressive endowment.
