Jupiter. Under it's thick gas clouds who knows what weird lifeforms live down there for me to hunt upon.

Jupiter is a gas giant. Doesn't really make sense for it to be on the game, as it doesn't have any solid land mass in reality. But I guess it may be in the dlc so I've heard. Kinda silly tho, unless the location is on one of Jupiter's moons and not the actual planet
-
I don't know about you but astronomy and everything space is my hobby.
-
I love astronomy, haven't really studied it officially as I'm an engineering major, but a lot of astronomical topics come up in physics.
-
Not being a asshole. But that gas needs a mass to attach its self to. If there was no type of mass in the center the gas would disperse.
-
Gas above, then liquid 'ocean', rocky core is completely submerged, thus no land mass. As stated below
-
You don't know or anyone knows what is under the gas clouds. There may and is most likely a rock mass within the gas clouds.
-
Actually scientists know that under the layer of gas on Jupiter, as the temperature rises, the gas condenses into liquid which you could say makes up the 'surface' of Jupiter. Jupiter does have a Rocky core, but it is completed submerged underneath many miles of ocean. You would be surprised what astronomers can deduce from x ray and infrared telescopes!

Until JUNO arrives in I think 2016 and does its measurement around both pole it is unknown. Also this game take place in the future so somewhere in between now and then something could of happend to the planet. Leaving it at that.
-
https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/faq/index.cfm?Category=Jupiter It's in the FAQ, no land mass. That's NASA, just sayin
-
You say it's unknown, quick google search will reveal otherwise.
-
As I said the game is in the future. So unless you can predict things in the future who knows how many of hundreds of years from now it's all speculation of what jupiter will be like.
-
I mean it is game, and there are plenty of fantasy games. So, whatever, allow your imagination to roam free, just don't try to pass it off as reality. Jupiter has no land mass, period. Never has, never will. I didn't say it, argue with NASA if you think you know more about it than they do
-
Pretty sure hundreds of years from now Jupiter will still be a gas giant
-
I see you clearly don't get the point WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE!
-
If Jupiter has been a gas giant with no land mass for millions even billions of years, I think it's safe to assume it will remain that way in the next few hundred years. You arguing for something you wish was real, nothing more
-
Oh really now so you where down there. Wtf is your problem. Read what I said in previous comment. I see you're trying to get me to rage and you achieved it.
-
My how people hate to be proven wrong when they Think they know something
-
https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/faq/index.cfm?Category=Jupiter Argue with nasa homie, don't really care to much if you rage, but you are wrong if you think Jupiter has land mass. Besides Jupiter won't be in the day one release. If it does come out on the dlc it will probably be Jupiter's moon Europa. That's the concept art that was released anyway, and it makes much more sense.
-
There is a moon of Jupiters that u can play on later on in dlc. It's an Ice Moon. And if u did go to Jupiter I bet there would just be a floating city or landmass in there somewhere
-
I think that is most likely. And most realistic
