I pre-ordered Destiny Limited Edition for 99.99 plus tax would put me at 105.99.
If I downgrade to the Regular Edition and add the Expansion pass puts me at a total of 100.68.
Now the emblem, the ghost casing and the ship variant would be awesome to have, but i don't need the little booklets that come with it... So should I just go with the cheapest one and save 5 bucks or just stick with the Limited Edition. Could use some opinions/advice.

I just looked and they don't have a Digital guardians edition for 360? DAH HECK!?
-
2 RespuestasI'd say if you are already spending 100 bucks, why not toss the few extra dollar forward for the shiny stuff?
-
Keep option 1, put it on eBay, use the money made for option 2
-
Jus 5 bucks more mate it's a limited edition

4 RespuestasSince I'm getting the game with my PS4 bundle and want to add the expansion pass for PS4 and getting destiny for Xbox 360. So if I go with the 100.68 option, I could use that 5 bucks toward the expansion pass for PS4.
-
just go with digital guardian edition if price is personal factor you can get it on psn for 29.99 or something and even with expansion you will come in well below the limited edition plus tax .
-
Woah man if 5 Dollars means so much to you... What does 50 dollars mean? What does it mean?
-
3 RespuestasBro if u don't want the books and things just send them to me I would appreciate them :)

I have read somewhere ( it was on a forum) that the expansion will go up in price or be sold separately for like 20$ each. My only concern though was if everything i receive from pre-ordering (content) can be transferable to the next gen console (360-xbox1) since i plan on getting an Xbox one sometime.

I just think the books and star charts and the concept cards are stupid... I'm most likely gonna save the 5 bucks and when Destiny two releases and has better stuff that comes with it that aren't books and star charts, I'll get the Limited edition for that.. Out of all the Limited Editions I've gotten, I have NEVER read the books and crap. I rather play the game, not read the books and star chart.

If you're nickel and diming it then go for digital Guardian edition.

1 RespuestaThe Limited Edition also comes with a few extra perks which would cost far more than $5 alone. The Arms and Armaments Field Guide, 4 Postcards from the Golden Age, a Steel Book game cover and a Star Map are all included with the game and DLC. If you're not really interested in the flashy add-ons then I'd recommend just getting the SE and DLC pass
-
Reason for the 105 $one: These 5 Dollar screw them its only five Dollar dude Reason for the 100 $ one : all limited Editions are in five to seven years only 5-10 dollars i mean look at halo 2s or halo 3s or even halo 4s Edition
-
Don't forget, limited seems to finally mean limited for once :)
-
I'm just getting the SE and the Expansion Pass. I never have been into collectables for games. Honestly it would just get thrown into storage. I think it's nice for people how they get a lot of cool stuff for roughly the same cost. Go with your heart OP!!! GO WITH YOUR HEART!!!!

1 RespuestaYou're all forgetting the metal case instead of the plastic.
-
The limited edition comes with the two expansions. So the only question is if the in game items are worth 5 bucks.
-
Buy it used in a week after launch once everyone has beaten everything
-
5 RespuestasIf you ask me, I think the limited edition is over priced... It should be 80 because what are the books and star chart cost separate? 2-3 bucks maybe?
-
2 RespuestasYou've already spent 100 bucks just spend the extra 5, the shit is small but you might appreciate it one day. Plus it's only 5 bucks

Part of being in the "Dad Club" means you get used to blowing your nose with $100 bills. It comes, it goes, just the way it is. Worrying over $5 is nothing. BUTTTTTT>>.... If you have little kids keep this in mind..... THEY BREAK STUFF -- Including game discs. For that matter so do older kids. So I am saving money in the long run and gaining peace of mind by getting the digital guardian with DLC from PS4 store. I NEVER PLAN to trade this game in, but then I played in Alpha and Beta and love it. My thoughts.

2 RespuestasYou're only saving $5.31 it's not like you're saving alot but you do lose alot if you go the 100.68 way

2 RespuestasEditado por Kinzoku: 8/18/2014 1:24:36 PMIt is 5 dollars for all the extra stuff and the cool case I would keep it. I wasn't able to get one and I wish I did

1 RespuestaI'm not really interested in the Digital Edition. I like having a physical copy. I'm leaning toward doing option #1 cause, I could care less for the books and star charts. The player emblem, Ghost skin and ship valiant don't do anything but make your banner look better then everyone's and doesn't really give you and advantages or Ship Bonuses or anything like that. Besides, I'm sure they'll have sweet looking Ship and Sparrow skins in game anyways, same for the Ghost skins and player Emblems.

Get the digital guardian edition. It's cheaper than buying the game and expansion separate and you still get the collectors dlc

Seems people are talking about selling their Ghost/Limited editions, maybe you could just sell it off once you get it and turn a profit? Personally, I bought the digital guardian edition, that way both me and my boyfriend can share it, and we, or atleast I, (not sure how it works yet), get all the lovely goodies and skins that come with it. Plus with it being digital, no taxes. If I were you, I'd just stick with the limited, use it, then turn around and sell the disc, with the books, and whatever, to someone that wants to love and drool all over it. Then pick up a normal copy.
