A common criticism for a lot of my threads is that I can mute loud people. While this is true, it isn't necessarily convenient when I am in the middle of a battle. So that got me thinking: what if bungie wrote in some sort of code that automatically muted loud people if they reached a certain decibel level? That would make things much easier. Then I wouldn't have to interrupt the game in order to mute some jackass with a shouting problem. The game would do it for me. The mute would last until the end of the match or for 15 minutes. Think of it as a time out. Thoughts?

Your first good idea.

1 Respuestaas I think this is true i was playing with some chick in a clan practice and her mic was overly sensitive so my somewhat loud talking sounded like nails on a chalkboard for her. IDGAF she was annoying and she would always try to claim i was in the wrong but theres noway i can controll my voice on a mic that amplifys voice volume to the max with other people saying you arent talking that loud.

I think instead of muting them, it should play soft jazz every time there voice gets over a certain decibel level

I completely agree. This would definitely solve a lot of problems. I wouldn't have to fear for my ears getting blown out, and would stop annoying children.

Can't we just cut out their tongue instead and give it to the vex or cabel as some sort of peace offering. Who knows, this could lead to a VIP pass in the vault of glass. When we walk in we would be able to complete it without them shooting at us. We would of course need sunglasses over our helmets but that's coming with the dark below expansion pass confirmed.

1 RespuestaHow many threads are you going to make?

I agree completly

6 RespuestasLook at me making another thread and trying too hard to get attention. Someone please explain how to permanently hide him cause it doesn't seem to be working.
-
2 RespuestasLongface thread aside, there's no need for this, a mute ban, or any other kind of automated voice moderation in Destiny because communication with team mates is an opt in experience rather than an opt out experience, which I feel is a healthier and more realistic philosophy :)
-
2 RespuestasI imagine a lot of your day goes towards coming up with these threads.

Editado por Elegize: 8/17/2014 6:02:26 PMThis a good idea actually, but only if the loud noise last for a long time or occurs more than x amount in a short time. PS: Please don't edit this post again by adding something retarded.

Has some merit. Though it should probably have something to make sure it doesn't also mute somebody who's normally quiet but got freaked out by something. And the idea is that this feature can be toggled, right?
